Rolling Ridge Plaza — Local services in Chino Hills

So the reasons I'm giving this APARTMENT COMPLEX (not sure where these restaurant reviews came from)1 Star is soley because of the location. The location is good and the assigned schools are great. It is the cheaper set of apartments in Chino Hills, but you really get what you pay for. 1st - They have an ongoing mice/rat issue. On my initial move in date, i found mice droppings in my outside storage unit and throughout the 2 years I lived there had requested to have some traps in. I also would see them run accross the yard going to and from the laundry unit. I am not the only tenant who experienced this (both downstairs and upstairs tennants, yes even the upstairs units experienced mice issues).

2nd - There is a laundry facility that only takes quarters (no machine to exhange your dollars). On top of machines being overpriced they are always breaking down, not draining and making tenants have to rewash their clothings wasting another set of quarters.

3rd - When you do have an issue you have to deal the the office ladies make you feel like their are so inconvenienced with whatever issue is going on with your home. Then they try to brush it off as not being a big deal. They also talk bad about your when you are not there and have bad attitueds. Very unprofessional and on multiple occassions saw the women that worked there have their kids at work, arrive late, leave early and take extended breaks.

4th - Several tenants had major mold issues, including myself, and they made me feel I was the crazy one for smelling mold/mildew in my apartment. They had their maintenace do some "mickey mouse" work, so I requested to have a mold testing and found that my findings were correct. It wasn't until then that they decided to really fix the issue hire a company to treat the walls for mold.

4th - the Gardening they have are super inconsiderate. Every time they'd come they'd blow their tree trimmings and dirt into my patio. EVERYTIME! I have children who liked to play in the patio, and it would be covered in dirt. This not only happened in my patio but would see cars covered in trimmings also.

5th - the parking spots are terribly compact. They try and squeeze more spots in an area creating less space for door opening access.

6th - Security? I'm not sure what the intention of hiring them is for? Several car break-ins occurred and where was security? They were there to to tow any non-registered/permited vehicles. I would see security walk around checking car windows for stickers and then when completed their rounds I would never see them again until the next night for the same thing.

7th- don't expect Grade A work... they hire anyone who wants to do the job if it will give them a cheaper price. This is not just the gardening, I'm talking like work done in your home. Even a paint job. When i was dealing with my mold issue and needed some paint touch ups, they told me that their contracted painter was going to be stopping by my house. It was a regular tenant, nice older philipino lady but i really dont think she new what she was doing. She just showed up with a bucket of paint, a cheap paint brush and painted over all the dust and already caked on layers of paint.

I have lived at Rolling Ridge Plaze for a number of years and I would aggresively deter anyone from renting here. The units are outdated, there is often plumbing problems, and the front office is difficult to work with. We have had problems with pests, mold, and unruely neighbors (which took a year for the office to address). If you can afford literally anywhere I would recommend living elsewhere.
