I HAVE A UNBELIEVABLE STORY, THAT IS 100% ACCURATE! I cannot believe that this happens nowadays. So last night after having along day at work, I decided to go to Baskin Robbins, because usually Ice cream makes a person feel better. Little did I know I was going to come across this extremely rude associate by the name of Andrew. It was 9:55 p.m. when I walked in the Ice Cream Shop. As I walked in I told the Associate, Andrew, that the business lights are off and it was pretty hard to find the location. His immediate response was "Maybe you should get your eyes checked!" no giggle or laugh, just a straight face. I then figured he was having a bad day, so I proceeded to order my Ice cream Sandwich. As I was eating my Ice Cream Sandwich, I saw a sign at the door that read: "Download the Basking Robbins App and receive a free scoop." I then proceeded to download the app. As I was sitting down waiting for the app to download, so I could take advantage of the offer, Andrew ordered me to leave. I explained that I was downloading the app and enjoying my Ice cream sandwich I had paid for. He said that if I didn't leave right away, he was going to call the cops on me. I told him that I would leave as soon as I was done with the installation of the app. The time now at this point is 10:02; keep in mind that is two minutes pass closing even though I was already in the store before 10:00. He then got on the phone and called the Chino Police Dept. Shortly after 2 police cars show up. As soon as I explained that I was a paying customer and that I know my rights, they eased up and told me that "everyone is allowed to have a bad day." I did not go into this shop expecting to get the cops called over some Ice cream. Now, to make matters worst I called this morning requesting to speak to the Manager. I spoke to Johnny (who claimed to be the manager) to inform him that one of his employees, Andrew, was extremely rude and has absolutely no customer service skills. "Johnny" chuckled and said, "Okay, I will tell him not to do it again." I am appalled by this response. I honestly believe that people that do not have people skills or don't enjoy working with the public, should look for employment where they don't have to deal with people. This is how businesses lose customers, and I will for sure not be going back to this establishment. I placed a online order on a Monday for pick up on a Tuesday for a birthday cake which was with pistachio nut ice cream, after cutting into the cake and serving my guest that’s when a big disappointment came to my attention the cake itself was hard and the nuts in the ice cream were stale mind you the cake had been sitting out a hour prior to cutting into it not one person liked the cake I ended up throwing it away as it was gross. I called in today and told them what had happen the girl I spoke with told me that because it was in the freezer the cake gets hard and the nuts get stale like WHAT how does that even make sense so you mean to tell me your still selling cakes KNOWING this happens that’s crazy because I’ve ordered cakes before (not from this location) and that has never happened. She then asked me what I want them to do I told her I would either want my money back or a replaced cake this time with a different ice cream so the nuts don’t get stale from being in the freezer LOL. She asked if I had the cake I said no because why keep a cake that was a waste. She said she would call her manager and call me back. When I received a call back she told me she spoke with a manager and they can’t do anything about it because I don’t have the cake, so you mean to tell me I was supposed to keep a cake that was disgusting from the beginning just to return it what kind of customer service is that so I told her that’s fine and I would be leaving a bad review so people can be aware prior to ordering anything from here. Came in for my favorite a cuppuccino blast at 9:20 pm (40 minutes before close) and was told they started closing early and they had already cleaned their blenders so they weren't doing any more blended drinks with the worst attitude! I asked the employee her name and she took about 30 seconds to come up with the name "Eva". So I'll describe what she looks like since I know it's not her real name. She's was skinny, darker skin complexion, with black hair. I have worked in the food/service industry for over 10 years and have NEVER come across such a rude person! I understand they want to hurry and close so they can go home but there’s two blenders. Close one early and leave one open at least. Or make up and excuse/lie and say they’re broken! Don’t tell me you cleaned them early and are no longer making blended drinks. She had the worst attitude and even rolled her eyes when she was turning around to keep cleaning thinking I didn't see!
