El Pollo Loco — Restaurant in Chino

Ok, so I hate to give El Pollo Loco a bad review. I LOVE this chicken!! I’m only leaving the review on this location in Chino. First time at this particular location and I could not believe the unsanitary conditions. First, I noticed the girl making the food orders had no gloves on (gross) and was actually touching tortillas and preparing food for customers with her bare hands. Upon my speaking with the mgr she immediately put them on. Next, all around the food counter was food that had spilled out and no one bothered to clean it up. Looked really disgusting and nasty. The last straw for me was when someone at the drive thru sent their food back and the guy put the chicken back on the grill. Yikes!! how did he know the person didn’t open and touch the food? Once a customer has touched it, I thought it goes in the trash. I was so freaked out by the conditions of this place that my husband and I left and went to the Chino Hills location, I just left them a 5 star review. Lastly, the staff was very nice but in my opinion they lack the proper training and may not understand how dangerous these conditions are for unsuspecting customers. Please do better Chino El Pollo Loco before...

Placed an online order, for pick-up. Got some weird thing that i didnt order. Didnt find out til i got home, cause i never check whats in the bag... thats my bad, but i've never had a problem with getting things wrong or not the correct stuff. Ordered a Grande Avocado Chicken Bowl... got some weird bowl with broccoli in it. Not ok. Seriously. I ate the bowl anyway, cause i wasnt going back to fix the order. I love cotija cheese but the "cotija" they used... it didnt taste like anything. It was weird.... it was just a bit of texture, no flavor. I threw out basically all the broccoli, sonce there was so much of it. Chicken tasted good, as always. There wasnt as much rice as there usually is in their bowls, and there was A TON of black beans! Totally bummed out! I order here pretty frequently, never had a problem like this. I dont know what happened this time around, but step...

The service is good as well as the food. But the cleanliness is very poor i usually come here once a week around 8-9pm. And it is always dirty. The salsa bar is usually not stocked well and is always very messy. There food on the floor in the dinning room.

5/29/17 ok so apprearnatly my review from last week didnt post. So im here again and i had to wait 10min for a double chicken tostada. My chicken was cold the shell fell apart as soon as i touched it. The dinning room floor was not as dirty as usual but it was still messy.
