McDonald's — Restaurant in Chipley

McD in Bonifay is so inconsistent. I went and got a Big Mac meal last week and the burger was put together well and tasted good. I got though the drive thru quickly and all was good. I went back a few days later and the orders the same thing and when I opened the box the burger was all hanging out on one side. The middle bun hanging out the opposite side. Sauce was squirted looked like on one edge and down the side. There is no call for that. There were not busy and even then the food should come out looking good. This store at times is very slow. One evening at about 9:00pm went and ordered there were 4 0r 5 cars ahead of me in the drive thru and once I got to the window they packed me. I sit there and waited and waited. Now mind you I waited about 15 minutes in line. So I looked at the ticket and it had been 30 minutes. Crazy right? So I got out and walked in and asked to see a manager. She came over and I politely told her that we had patiencently waited 30 minutes but my patience had run out and I wanted a refund. She looked up at the screen and asked one of the employees where the order was and one of them yelled oh it's sitting here in a bag in the drive thru waiting on fries. She said the were coming up now. I told the manager that I did not want the food that had been sitting for who knows how long on the counter not even under a heat lamp. That store really needs a good manager there all the time and teach the employees how to do things the McDonald's way. The maid for you system they use is a pretty good system if it's used correctly. (As I said earlier I worked on the refrigeration and cooking equipment at 8 stores for a while). I don't understand why people don't have any pride in what they do anymore. I don't care if you are flipping burgers, digging a ditch or whatever you should do the best you can at whatever it is. I guess that has béen lost as the Baby boomers are dieing off. I remember a something my Dad used to say to me when I was young. Do what you do do well son. I kinda hated it when I was about 8 or 10 but it wasn't long that I took that advice and applied it to all I have ever done and I can sit back and be proud cause I know what I did was done correctly and neatly. The worst food that I have ever had. McDonald's has become the worst fast food company that I have ever been too. At least from Pensacola FL to Bonifay Fl. Besides the food being cold sitting on their warmer racks to leave long to being slow. I thought they were supposed to be fast. That is false advertising unless it is already made and been sitting to long. When you go and complain they look at you as though you are crazy how dare you complain they might have to make it over. As well as management is no better, they don't care customer service is non existent. I went to Bonifay Fl last night driver threw witch I hate they give you the worst food there because they know you are going to drive away and eat it down the road so who cares right. The fry's we're cold they gave me some more they we're no better. I was tired and did not want to wait. Then the quarter pounder was dry cold bread was like hard but I was hungry and needed to get to the house it was late. I called the manager on duty she told me that she was sorry but said it as though she did not care. She told me that she had just got there. I asked here how long she had to be at work before she cared what the customer had to say. I told her that she had confirmed it for me that I would not ever come to a McDonald's ever again. She acted just like the rest as though she did not care. She told me I could come back and the would replace it. I told her I could not I was 30 miles away and was not coming back she finally told me that the next time I come in they would replace my meal. I asked how they would know. She told me that she would write my name down so they would know I told her that I would not be back till next Sunday night. She told that would be fine. We'll see. I should not have to argue with the manager. I use to be a manager at Domino's Pizza back in the early 90's. Back the there were 2 rules. Rule 1 the customer was ALWAYS Right ! Rule 2 when indout see rule number 1 that was it and if you did not follow those rules you lost your job. Today no one cares about...

I-10 travelers - pass the Bonifay McDonalds - it's unsanitary

One of the nastiest restaurants we have been in ever! The smell of burning coffee (or coffee that was 3 days passed old) hit you when you entered and then the dirty mop and bucket sat right there in the front- it didn't get any better! Employees were not interested in taking order-we were the only people in there at the time- it was not busy at all. Finally got our order taken-2 happy meals, quarter pounder and big mac. All the tables in this location were dirty- women's restroom was horrible! Rolls of toilet paper had been placed all around, one laying on the sink, black hairs were in the drain and it smelled like cat urine. I had to leave because I thought I would throw up. Our food came- grease covered every container - the big mac was some kind of oval piece of meat that had been cut in half and one end of it was only 2X2, seriously- the whole thing was a complete mess and it did not taste like a big mac at all- I couldn't eat it. The fountain area was just like the rest of this establishment- nasty. Ketchup and trash was in the drain- it did not look like it had been cleaned in a very long time------days Behind the counter the floors were so greasy that employees looked they were skating-----food and trash lay on the floor-------I don't know how this location passes an inspection, but it was so bad it should have been closed down. There is no excuse for food establishments to operate in this manner- and sadly, it looks like this one has been doing this for a long time. Corporate should try out this location one time and see for themselves----travelers on I-10 - avoid this McDonalds!!! It...
