Boomarang Diner - Choctaw — Restaurant in Choctaw

Well I’m old school and these are the places that I would love to see come back . I spent most of my time in western Oklahoma and I can probably name every great diner from Choctaw to Guymon Oklahoma. There’s nothing better than going into one of these places and see first the big round table for your local people and farmers . This is where you went to ask for someone’s name or where his ranch might be located just to get ahold of him to kindly ask for permission to hunt on his property. Now nobody gives these hard working men the privacy they deserve by flying drones over their property to see what kind of deer population he has for next years deer season. So this is the guy that you sitting next to you or even in your tree stand that you have written permission from the same farmer that I kindly approached in the local diner . So you already know how I feel about places like yours now we just need more of them . I’m going to call it like I see it you guys with these drones that are doing this you are trespassing and you are disrespecting us as hunters and conservationist to their land that has been passed down through generations. First of all you’re out of Dr Pepper so I had to settle for a Pepsi. Ok cool. Well I’m here on half price hamburger day but you are out of mustard. Ok I’ll settle for a salad. (There is a list of things I heard one waitress say you’re out of but hey whatever). Then we’re ready to order but there is only ONE ticket writer! Ummm how do you find that working out when she’s busy with her own tables? We sat for 10 minutes just waiting on that one ‘ticket writer’ to come take our order which never happened bc we were on a lunch break and needed to get to work so we paid for our drinks ($6) and literally took one drink. Not only is it causing tip issues for other waitresses but now you’re losing business. This isn’t the first time we’ve come and you’re out of things. It seems to happen often. No one seemed friendly except for the girl that brought us our drinks but couldn’t take our order bc she’s not a ‘ticket writer’. Do better! One ticket writer is NOT it and whoever does the ordering should let someone else handle that. Being out of certain things isn’t acceptable when Walmart is less than a block away....

I am very disappointed. I order a KV Burger with no onions. I received it with the onions. I took it up to the counter and let them know, Next I heard from the kitchen was "Do I have to re-make this". Ok, no big deal I'll wait. When I got the new burger I went to cut it like I always do and found a wad of black hair under the bun when I moved it to the middle. Now I hate to think the worst of people but a wad of black hair and not a single strand makes me think it was done on purpose. I stopped the other waitress to tell her and said I was done and I didn't want another burger. She said nothing and took it away. I can't confirm exactly what I heard but it sounded like they said I did it but kinda impossible when I am a redhead and my other half has short grey-brown hair and my son had short brown hair so it wasn't from our table. Our little blonde waitress was terrific and took my burger off but I can say I will never set foot in this place again due to the comments and lack of concern that there was a wad of hair in my food oppose to a single strand which can...
