Previously Amelia’s restaurant now buddy’s.
Same owner, same great food. Even though this place has been opened for months. My wife and I have recently found this gem. We used to always have lunch at their buffet down in cambria for years. We were sadden to hear that the restaurant closed down a few years back now.
The food has not changed one bit. My wife and I today ordered our usual eggplant parmesan and no surprise, the best around! We ordered a double just so we can have leftovers this evening(eating leftovers while typing this review)
I ordered a longtime favorite of Philly cheesesteak burgers that wasn’t a disappoint as usual. Full of flavor that you wouldn’t believe. The long missed dishes have been brought back and we couldn’t be any happier.
Since the reopening of this wonderful restaurant, the wife and I will now make this place our usual for as long as he keeps this new place open! Do yourself a favor and give this place a try. If you remember Amelia’s down in cambria, you will fall in love with this place once again.
Thank you so much for bringing back the best...
Read moreThis is a good place for a "fast" Italian type meal. They offer a variety of pizza, subs, and salads, though they are predominantly a take-out location with minimal seating available. Make sure to ask about the daily special, as I didn't see it posted, and this may be a nice discount to your meal and provide a recommendation if you are undecided. The Chicken Philly is pretty good with a very generous amount of meat, cheese, and lettuce. Not a menu option, but it would be good to add a "Loaded" Chicken Philly as they have for the traditional Philly. I also would have liked a little more mayo or sauce. Flavor was delicious. Subbing chips for fries is an added cost, but I am pleased to say that they provide a very generous portion of fries for your money. Everything was hot and fresh and service was quick. Decor/Dining Environment: a little sparse but there are a few small tables inside and a couple larger...
Read moreThis was a clean and organized spot with orders constantly coming in. Unfortunately, the meal did not meet my expectations. The oil on the garlic rounds and italian sub was not my taste, so I would suggest starting off adding just a bit to the sub. After a few bites of the sub, I added some salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and galic powder to give it more of a taste. It felt like something I could have made myself. Also, I was expecting the garlic rounds to taste and look like garlic knots, but they are pretzel bite sized had a different texture I did not enjoy. They are a clever idea though. Other items on their menu may be worth a try, I just did not...
