Me and my Fiance went into this establishment for lunch today. My fiance ordered a Spicy Italian footlong, he noticed they had steak and asked if he could also add it. To which the young girl told us that it was going to be extra and we ok'd. We got rung up WITHOUT being retold the order and only knowing the total. As we started to leave my fiance was looking at the receipt (because this issue isnt the first time we've been over charged). To which he noticed he was charged for a STEAK AND CHEESE FOOTLONG WITH DOUBLE MEAT (approx. $10 + $3) not the spicy Italian with double meat (approx $8 + 3). He went back in to be refunded the extra almost 3 bucks with tax we were over charged to which the girl started to argue with my fiance about the specifics on what she can and can't change in her POS. My fiance in the past if he adds a different meat to the order been charged for double meat not an entirely different sandwich. The girl persisted there was nothing she could do since her manager is not there (she along with one other woman was the only employees there). We had a hard time believing that considering if theres any issues she said she would need a manager override. She in the end voided the entire sandwich but we only asked for the $3 refund and because she was not honoring pricing on the menu it was a direct violation to the Weights and Measures Law.    Read more2 thin slices of ham???? The employee literally laid down 2 thin slices of ham for a 6â ham and cheese. I asked if thatâs all the meat that it comes with and she said yes. I know it comes with more but how can I prove it?? I tell her to add more meat and charge me for the âextraâ meat. She adds TWO more slices of thin ham. I add my toppings then ask for mayo / mustard. Thereâs no Mayo in the Mayo squeeze bottle. She bangs it on the counter to try to get some out and gets one miserable dime sized squirt out. Looks at me and says they donât have anymore mayo⌠huh?! So they are going to go the whole day without Mayo in a sandwich shop??? I ask if she can get more and she says she canât because it has to be prepared. Mind you I havenât even ordered the second sandwich/wrap. I tell her to cancel the second sandwich- the wrap for the sandwich was just sitting there with nothing on it yet. Non concerned that I was only getting half the order I came in for. Non concerned that this sandwich I am buying only has 4 slices and Iâm being charged for âextraâ meat. Non concerned about not having mayo for the day. She rings me up and I leave. WHAT KIND OF CLIENT EXPERIENCE IS THAT!? I was the only customer in there and she was the only employee I saw in there. This marks the third time I've visited shortly before closing, well within their stated business hours, only to find the store prematurely tidied up and the staff eager to turn me away. On my last visit, I entered at 8:47pm, a good 13 minutes before their closing time of 9pm, yet was promptly informed they were "closed."
If a business lists its closing time as 9pm, it should be prepared to serve customers up until that point. It's not only a matter of principle but also a matter of customer service. With the myriad of dining options available, it's disheartening to see such a disregard for customer satisfaction. The frequency of this happening makes me question their commitment to the community they serve. Based on this, I can't help but wonder if this is the reason for the slew of negative reviews this particular location has garnered.
In the future, I hope the management can address this issue and uphold the store hours they have posted. Customers...
