I am a GrubHub driver. I had an order at this restaurant and I was told by the employees that another GrubHub person had taken the order already. The customer had not received that food yet. Sometimes GrubHub drivers might steal the food and/or the GrubHub driver could not deliver the food because of an emergency, flat tire, etc. I am not sure which one happened on this case but the employees at this restaurant refused to make the food again even though GrubHub was going to credit them for the whole order. They have only the drive-thru open so I had to keep coming through the drive-thru as I was talking to GrubHub driver care and the restaurant to try to solve this problem. I was looking through the front window to try to get their attention, at one point, and saw a stack of food with a receipt on it and in the bag that look like it could have been the order. This is the first time I've ever run into a problem of a restaurant not remaking the order. All other restaurants have no problem to remake the order and get credit for it. These employees were very rude and told me to contact the GrubHub customer just to tell them to get a refund for the order. Obviously, I did not do that. I truly believe the employees took this order. Originally, one of the employees told me to have GrubHub call them. I did and the GrubHub driver care said their phone was busy. When I came back to tell the employee that the phone was busy she said nothing about it and ignored the question and change the subject. All restaurants have a GrubHub tablet and can tap confirmed and order is ready, as I was 2 minutes away from this restaurant they confirm this order. So, I know the order came in. They were trying to tell me that the order has to come through again for them to make it again. I don't understand why all these employees are so rude. I think every restaurant should require the delivery driver to show them that they confirmed that they got the order. Also, the restaurant can see what the driver look like, this helps confirm which driver gets what order. Basically, they are very rude and not willing to work with GrubHub drivers!! They don't care if their customers get food they...
Read moreCaptain D's is just not Captain D's like it used to be. The quality of fish, I rate as 3 out of 5 as the hush puppies was a 4 but the fish a 2.6 and chicken a 2.7. Atmosphere 2.5 as the drive thru pavement had many pot holes. Drive thru and parking lot was crumbling apart and not safe for your tires or car (especially at night and was not well lit which it needed to be for this location. Some of the lights were out on the menu board. Food appeared recently cooked, was hot, Not soft, too firm (on the verge of hard, but not quite), simply not quality fish to me. $28 for 1 two piece fish, two piece chicken and shrimp dinner. Added a piece of fish and chicken, hush puppies and one piece of cheesecake. The price was fair enough...., but they forgot my cheesecake! They did a good job getting about six cars through the drive-thru in a very reasonable amount of time. Staff was pleasant at the speaker and at the window. I would personally not go back to this location and maybe not a...
Read moreWe did have a lengthy wait; however mgmt needs to hire. There were two young African American girls working, ( Saturday early evening) and let me tell you the customer service was great, our order which was a large order $32 , was hot fresh and correct. Everything was in the bag napkins utensils condiments which now days most restaurant drive thru dont even seem to care if they give you these items or not altho its kind of a foundation fir a meal in the car. Even while sitting there watching them prepare our order, these girls were prepping and preparing and cleaning and getting set up . I was proud to watch them in motion. They both should be managers showing your new incoming employees that you'll hopefully be hiring soon how it's suppose to be done. I live on the Westside and will travel to your location...
