I'm giving 5 stars because they are doing a good thing and working hard to do it, but I have some suggestions and notes for tourists like us. Our visit was not unenjoyable by any means. First of all being open on Sunday is a blessing. When we travel - as we were on this trip - we rarely find shops like this open on Sunday. Our family has Celiac and love when we can find a dedicated gluten free bakery. From what we can tell by others online, this bakery is a dedicated gluten free bakery. They do not seem proud of it though. There is no signage in the store stating it and there is nothing on their website about it. This may be so that they do not discourage gluten-eaters from stopping in, but it can scare off Celiac families like us. We risked it and came out fine. Another thing, nothing is labeled or priced in the store. The staff is friendly and will answer any question, but when there are 20+ items on display, I do not feel like asking what everything is and how much it is. We picked a few things, but if we had been more educated about what everything was and what kind of price range we were working with, I know we would have bought more. The last thing is parking. Sunday morning. 8 a.m. Street parking is not a problem. Just be aware if you're coming at other times, scope the area out first on Google maps ahead of time so you have your bearings when it comes to finding a spot to park. The food itself was fine, but I can honestly say that I have had better gluten free baked goods elsewhere. They very well could be, however, the best in the area, and they are...

My family eats gluten free. The first time I walked in and found out everything was gluten-free, I was so surprised!
Love the cheddar Flats, the donuts, the lemon lavender muffins, the strata, the quiche, and their tea and coffee are good as well.
My only suggestion would be offering more treats that have sugar alternatives such as maple syrup, honey or even organic cane sugar. Our family does not usually eat processed, white sugar. We make an occasional exception for this Bakery and would stop by FAR more often if alternative, healthier sugars were used in some of the recipes.
UPDATE: I still love this place, but I am constantly frustrated by their hours. In the past 2 weeks I have wanted to stop here on 3 different occasions. Once, driving 30 minutes there to pick up baked goods as a surprise for my child. There was a sign on the door stating they were closed to the public for the day despite people that could be seen working inside. (And it was during their regular hours) Awoke again this morning to visit with my child, as promised to find out they are closed on Wednesdays. Seems like a strange day to be closed, in the middle of the week. I will now be informing my kid who is going to be disappointed AGAIN! Y'all are losing business with your hours. Closed Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday? Very...
Read moreBeing gluten free, there aren't many options for me in Cincinnati so I was super excited to try this place. I did find it odd there weren't any visual signs on the building saying it's gluten free but maybe because that would deter some people? I agree with the other person saying they need to have signs on their treats to say what it is. I found myself having to ask what everything was. That said, I got 4 different items. One of them was an apple strudel and it was AMAZING. I loved it. The S'mores cookie bar was delicious but tons of sugar, which of course it's a cookie bar but sometimes with GF I feel places will overdo the sugar to make up for taste. I would order the bar again but maybe eat it in two sessions for the sake of my blood sugar! Overall, I really liked everything I bought and the staff was very friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful and it wasn't as expensive as I thought it was going to be. I can't wait to visit earlier in the day for more options and I will...
