Privee on Elm — Restaurant in Cincinnati

Their advertisement is very and truly misleading. “Business meets pleasure”. That’s the only reason why my friends and I wanted to go there. Upon arriving, just looking for parking, you can smell weed in the air, the girls have their asses out, people were everywhere. By the crowd, it already looked ratchet. It took us a long time to find parking so we said we will just try it. As we were waiting in line, they said $40 a person. While waiting, a shorter line was $60 for females and $80 for males. I didn’t realize we were in Miami! Regardless of the wait, they were sneaking people in through the back. The promoters and security were all very rude. They also yelled for everyone to put their weed back in their car cus it wasn’t allowed in. Once we got in, the place was super small and tight. Their sections weren’t even sections. There was a lot of weed smoking inside and not a thing was done about it. It was not upscale at all even inside. They turned the lights on before 2am and the bartenders starting having hella attitudes and yelling “gtfo”. But they are supposed to be open until 2:30. This place was just a mess. It’s really not worth all the hype. lol

Me, my bae & people came down from Indy to visit . I texted a number from their IG page to book a section for the night & the response came from the owner Paul himself confirming reservation for section had been booked. I have the text messages(proof). We arrived the security guards were rude as we were asking directions for reservations. The crowd looks 18 and under . (EXTREMELY YOUNG) . They was letting young niggas in the back door. They didn’t have no type of organization . It was a mad house . After we finally got in my name wasn’t on the list for a reservation so we waited another 30 minutes for the owner to come up (Paul) . He comes up and say let me go get E one moment ima get your section . 10 minutes later Paul comes back and say we booked all the sections 2 weeks ago for Saturday . I showed Paul the text message he said that was for Friday lol but he texted me on Saturday . If you are older I would advise to go to Loveonthe4th or Tula. But if you like the younger crowd, unorganized and unprofessionalism then Privee...

New* bar / club one block from Findlay Market and near two streetcar stops. Happy hour was pretty chill. Nice decor and background music.

The bartender was friendly and told me about the place: they have weekend DJs, Ladies Night on Fridays, and Afro Caribbean and then R&B music on Thursdays. First Class Sundays also have a DJ.
