Walked into this wawa with my family to order some sandwiches. At the register a cashier by the name of Ann served us rudely. She didn't greet us and was in a conversation with another employee as she was ringing me up completely ignoring me. She never made eye contact with me and upon asking me if I needed an extra bag for 5 hoagies, she slams the bag on the counter. Then as I'm paying shes getting cigarettes for the customer behind me. I'm sitting there staring at the credit card reader waiting for her cashier input to complete my purchase. This is unacceptable when there was another cashier there already assisting the customer behind me. To make matters worst the girls making my sandwiches were cursing amongst each other while my little daughters were hearing them. No matter how crowded, though, I've never had a wait at the register longer than a minute or two, and at the sandwich counter...
Read moreThis is my first time at a WaWa, even though I've driven past many. The wrap I had was pretty good.
The restroom was in decent shape, and the showroom floor was busy with multiple staff members stocking the shelves. The crew in the food prep area didn't seem to be keen on acknowledging quests waiting for their food as they were too busy engaged in full-on conversations about personal stuff.
I get it, but at least they should stop to acknowledge clients.
