McDonald's — Restaurant in Citrus Heights

Can't believe how many problems I've had at this one location. The drive threw is always slow, and every time i ask for sauce i never get any. i don't enjoy leaving reviews like this but the scales have been tipped. So going through the drive threw is always horrible here. I'd hate to see their wait times. But the main story. Got there, ordered my food and there was one person ahead of me. They had been sitting at the window to get there food before I even paid and even after I paid it took about 5 more minutes for them to get their food. When I get up to the window I'm handed my drinks which one was suppose to have no ice, but whatever it's ice. So still waiting a few minutes pass by and the lady asks me to pull around because my food isn't ready. My mistake was agreeing to that. I go and pull around and wait in their designated area......time passes about 5-6 minutes and I see 3 cars leave the dive threw and still no sign of anyone bringing me my food. I'm fed up as I need to get back to work, I only get a 30 minute break. So I go inside and tell them that I've been waiting for someone to bring me my food as it hasn't happened. I give them my receipt and they don't even have it started. Over hearing them talk about my order, they had given it to someone else......so I'm still waiting, watching about 5 other customers get their food...took about another 6 minutes for them to give me my food. They say sorry and give me a pie. I leave to give my boyfriend his portion of the meal that I bought. I only ordered 2 things a #3 and a #6. As I'm on my way back to work I get a text from my boyfriend. A picture of the burger that was completely raw on the inside. Really? I was livid at this point. Something needs to change either train your staff properly or get a better trainer. I've worked in the fast food industry it if not that difficult. I ended up calling the manager, got a refund, thank you. Happy to never go to this location...

Terrible, terrible, terrible.Took a whole hour to make a smoothie and it was even the wrong one (🤬) absolutely wasted my time. Said they had to "clean the machine" at 5pm on a friday! What?!? Why didnt you do that on your own time instead of the evening when everyone comes here for dinner and it gets busy? Or atleast ask us if wed like to wait since its going to be a long time before they get the drink??? The worst customer service provided here

When i asked them why it took so long to make the wrong smoothie they didnt know what to say( absolutely livid)

I looked at the "manager"whos english was broken and asked her where i could make a formal complaint she said "uhhhh i not sure"YOU ARE THE MANAGER AND YOU DONT KNOW? complete and utter incompetence

And before anyone would like to say anything about the "broken"english... i am a child of immigrants that earned their citizenship honestly and i have nothing against people from other countries and continents as ling as they do not impede on my daily life and quality of customer service.... which is not always guaranteed to be palatable at this establishment

Also, as a tip, they NEVER remember the sauces and sometimes not even the napkins and also get orders wrong all the time so you should be sure to check your order before leaving and to remind them how to do their jobs correctly since they cant do it on their own accord 🤦🏽‍♀️

Food too fast for even them to be able to think...

So a week and some change ago (2/4) I had an interview here at 4:00 pm sharp. After 45 minutes of waiting, I leave to go make a deposit. Manager (name withheld but it starts with a V) had the gall to ask me why did I leave? I didn't say what I felt but I said I made a deposit which was true. After the 3 minute interview, she said come back that Thursday for a second interview. Second interview usually means you get hired so, I'm ecstatic as I desperately need a job. Best part is, this job is literally 15 minutes away from me.I get my haircut and facial hair cut off because the manager said they have a clean shave policy.So bam, Thursday rolls around and I hop in Mcdonalds like "yess I'm about to get a job whatt" But guess what?? Said manager wasn't even there. Some employee told me she left early. The anger/frustration levels in my body were higher than the radiation levels in Chernobyl. Anyways I had called the manager to let her know I showed up and she actually got mad at me. She said she had another manager there to conduct the interview which, SHE DID NOT MENTION AT ALL. Yes, I'm "salty" about not getting a job here but, management is super unprofessional.Add insult to injury, I have to see this Mcdonalds...
