So disappointed with this visit to Bonefish. We have never had an issue here, in fact we supported this particular location through the pandemic and this was our first in restaurant visit since Covid hit. This was the worst service we've ever had and when you are paying over $100 for two people to have dinner you expect to have great service. The food was good as always but the service was so terrible that my husband said we will no longer be patronizing this location, there are several other places we could spend our money at for the same quality food and much better service. I had to ask for lemons three times and almost get rude with the waiter in order for him to remember to bring lemons to our table. We specifically asked for a table and were seated at a booth. I also sat with an empty glass without even being asked if I would like another through three stops at our table. Finally my husband asked the waiter for another drink, mind you my empty glass sat at the end of the table indicating I needed another beverage while the waiter was at our table on three different occasions without him even asking if I would like another beverage and he looked directly at the empty glass at least once that I saw, that's just absolutely poor service. My husband ordered an old fashioned and was served whisky on the rocks but was told it was an old fashioned and then when we received the bill it clearly stated whisky on the rocks, SMH. And to finish the evening we witnessed our waiter actually sitting down at a table with other guests for 5-10 minutes while we were waiting to be cashed out. I'm all about socializing and chatting with people, but make sure your tables are taken care of first please. I mean this guy literally had our check and credit card in his hand while sitting at this table and talking to these other guests. We will not be returning any time soon, if ever.
Update 4/13: I have completed the contract form as requested (about three weeks ago) and have not heard from anyone. I filled out the form again today hoping it would initiate a...
Read moreGather ’round, ye scoundrels and ladies of Westeros, for I have tales to tell of a culinary establishment most wondrous! ‘Twas at Bone Fish Grill, where the gods of the seas and kitchens have conspired to create a dining experience fit for the halls of King’s Landing itself.
Upon arrival, we were greeted not by servants in drab, but by staff as attentive and spry as Arya Stark on a mission. They flitted about the tables, filling goblets and replenishing bread baskets with the deftness of a well-trained assassin. Service, my friends, was swifter than a raven to the Eyrie, and kinder than a Stark in winter.
Now, let us speak of the Shrimp Appetizer, a dish so delectable it could tempt even the most stoic of Maesters. Each shrimp, perfectly seasoned and crisped to golden perfection, danced upon my tongue like dragons in flight. It was a taste that could rally the Bannermen to your side, leaving you craving more than just power – but another serving.
As for the prices, they were as fair as the sun setting over the Narrow Sea. One need not be a Lannister to afford a feast here, for the cost is as kind to your coin purse as Jon Snow is to direwolves. A meal fit for royalty, without the treachery and backstabbing of courtly life.
And the ambiance? Picture this: a hall not unlike the grand feasting chambers of Winterfell, yet with a touch of warmth and elegance akin to the gardens of Highgarden. The atmosphere was alive with merriment and laughter, making it a place where even the most battle-weary warrior could find solace and cheer.
In conclusion, Bone Fish Grill is a culinary stronghold, where service, fare, and price converge to create an experience as legendary as the tales of old. So, gather your comrades, and venture forth to this bastion of gastronomic delight. For in the game of feasts, Bone Fish Grill is a winner, and we, the diners, are but joyous pawns in their...
Read moreI cane to the restaurant (North Dale Mabry location) on the 2nd if February, 2024 with two elderly persons and asked how long we should wait for a table. The hostess said that it would be about 30 minutes so we decided to wait. In 20 Minutes nothing had happened so I asked the hostess again how long we had to wait. She said that it would be 10 minutes. We were waiting for 10 more minutes but we still were not seated. I asked again, and git the same answer - another 10 minutes. In the meantime I saw several tables were empty. I asked the hostesses about these tables but she said those were only for big groups! We were waiting and waiting but nobody was in a hurry to get a table for us. I asked why they couldn't tell us the truth to begin with and let us know that the wait would be an hour or longer! I asked for a manager. However, he was not helpful either. He just saud that he couldn't make people leave and there is nothing he could do! It was the worst experience I have ever had with restaurant. I understand you can make a mistake and underestimate the waiting time by 5 -10 minutes but not by an hour! And the tables for "big groups " wee just several tables moved together. They could at least move one table and let us sear. We left the restaurant after wasting an hour. We left because we didn't believe their 10 minutes wait promise any longer. I did not ask for the manager 's name but I think he can be found. In any case, somebody had to train these people how to treat customers. If they are completely unable to make an estimate regarding the time to wait, they...
