Repeal 18 — Restaurant in Citrus Park

I heard about Repeal from a friend who goes there often. I went for the first time on a Friday night around 7:00pm. The decor was awesome. I loved the setup, the “lounge” vibe, and the barstools were great. It was not overly crowded and there was plenty of room at the bar. There were approximately 3 servers/bartenders and a someone who presumably was a bar back. We sat down at the bar and waited approximately 10 minutes to be helped\served\acknowledged. Many years ago, I was a bartender and a server so I know what the job entails and I know the struggles. It gets very busy and it’s hard to be there promptly for everyone; therefore, I always remember that still to this day. So, I am very patient and understanding as a customer. However, staff looked at us on numerous instances and walked by on more than one occasion and completely ignored us. Again, I understand being busy but not one person said “hi, we will be right back or right with you”. Again, there were empty tables and maybe only 5 people sitting at the bar. Everything was great until closing time. They close at 3am but at about 2:45am as we were about to shoot our final game of pool they turned off the lights over the pool table and stop serving drinks. We asked why and they said there's not enough time to finish them (which makes sense). We asked if we could at least shoot our final game and they said no because there wasn't enough time. We shot it anyway with our phone flashlights and were done in plenty of time. As we were leaving, my husband thought they did not give us our debit card back. They said they did so we started looking for it. Instead of helping us, they kept telling us to leave and that we could come back tomorrow. We were out the door with our card (which they did return to us and my husband just misplaced) by 3:06am. I couldn't believe that they were seriously telling us to leave our debit card there and come back tomorrow instead of helping us find it or giving us a chance to find it. This place is a hidden gem. My homegirl took me here for bday bevs and I fell instantly in LOVE with the aesthetics!!!!!! She knew I would love this place!! The red lighting is a great compliment to the vibes. We had an amazing guy welcome us, take our drink orders and he came back with SURPRISE BDAY SHOTS for him and I!!!!!💕 Loved it! Everything about this place gives GOOD VIBES!!! The drink menu is exciting and fabulous; make sure check out the espresso martini because it's TOP TIER.
