Blue Flame Jamaican Fusion — Restaurant in City of Albany

This hurts my heart to do this to a business, but good criticism will help a wise man if he listens.

I ordered a large curry goat. And I’m sorry but I am a full blood Jamaican and I know the difference between American curry goat and Jamaican curry goat and I can tell you the curry goat I had was very Americanized. It tasted like nothing I’ve had before. The rice was slightly mushy, they ran out of cabbage, and I received only two plantings, and one was undercooked.

When I asked will she give me a substitute since they ran out of cabbage and I ordered a large plate she said no. I honestly wanted to give a tip, but that changed my mind because generosity can take you far.

This is their new Albany location and it’s cute for a quick sit down lunch. The service was nice enough and the food was good. Portions are generous and food fresh.
