Chop Stix Restaurant — Restaurant in City of Albany

The woman who answers the phone at this place should be fired. My entire office of 50 people will no longer order here because of how rude she is. I just called tonight to place a pick up order.. if you go online to zmenu it says the place is open until 10:30. So I just tried to call, she said they were almost closed so I asked what time they close and she said 9:30. I said ok I’m sorry, I thought it was 10:30 and then she hung up on me. That was the second time she was extremely unprofessional and rude. The first time I had called around 9 (still unaware of what time they actually close) she was so rude to me on the phone that I actually told her that she was mean to me when I got there and she laughed. So I’m all done with this woman and we are no longer going to use them for big lunch orders at my office.

Might I add that I never ever say anything bad about restaurants. I have worked in one, I’m extremely nice and accepting of people and their moods but this is getting ridiculous.

I came here and ordered food today! I went to my car to eat my food. When I bit into my shrimp toast it was cold. I went into the restaurant and let them know the food was cold. The worker or owner who ever it was put my food in the microwave instead of making a fresh batch or just replacing the one i bit into and then refrying the ones that were already given to me. When I asked why was it put in my microwave instead of refried in the grease at least everyone looked confused. Why the food being placed in the microwave it messed up tge entire texture of the food. TOAST IS SUPPOSED TO BE CRUNCH AND CRISPY! The child at the front desk went to get the owner I can explain. Literally the nastiest food ever. The fried rice was so bland, NO salt. No nothing! The egg rolls STINK & the sweet and sour chicken was like 2 day old chicken nuggets. The only thing that was good was the boneless rib, that’s the only thing that made their rice bearable but you could still taste the grossness. I don’t even know why they have 4 stars, they need 2.
