The customer service is a problem, but what more is a problem is the prioritization. I used the app to order online for pick up through drive thru 20 minutes in advance because I know that this particular McDonald’s always takes forever to make orders complete. Cool, I get there and they seem busy which is the usual and completely understandable. The ringer tells me “mobile orders will take 15-20 minutes” like I said I already placed my order 20 minutes ago but fine. I wait 20 minutes and come back around he says the same thing. Me being patient and understanding I wait another 20 minutes, I come back a third time he says it again and this time I tell him it is my third time coming around after waiting 40+ minutes and he says “we’re only doing doordash and uber right now man, but you got to wait and hop on line”, like I haven’t done that already. Now I have zero experience working fast food but I do retail, so what is more important is the customer in my face, not over the phone. I would think the same applies to fast food. Cater to the customer who is at the establishment, not the ones who order food at their location. I feel and believe I should have full priority than delivery orders because I am there physically. This is a fast food establishment, nothing about it was fast. Ended up canceling my order to go to Popeyes across the street because my time was not respected. Read moreI ordered though the app about 15 minutes before I arrived at the restaurant. I had ordered a double bacon jalapeno quarter pound burger and a medium fry. I pulled up to the drive thru speaker and waited. I said "hello" a couple times, but nobody answered. After over 10 minutes of waiting, I pulled up to the window. I told them I had been waiting, and told them what my order was. Then they asked me to pull forward and wait for them to bring it out to me. I waited for about 15 more minutes and finally the manager asked me if I was waiting for an order. He knew nothing about it, so I explained my situation and he went inside. A few minutes later, I get my food and I pull away. I inspect the burger, and it had pickles (which don't come on the burger I ordered), and it had no bacon on it (which is supposed to come on three burger I ordered). At least the fries were fresh, but I didn't eat the burger. I decided against going back through the drive thru line because I had already spent about a half hour waiting, and I really didn't have time to spend another half hour trying to resolve the situation. If I knew I would have to go through all this trouble, I wouldn't have ordered in the first place. I will definitely not be visiting this location...
