Not sure how long Peterson's has been around, but it was a new find for my fiance and I. Tuesday is our weekly night out, and we love trying new places. The pictures and reviews on Facebook looked great so off we went. It was early and not busy at all, we were 2 of maybe 5 total customers. The bar itself was very nice, modern decor with a kinda old school vibe. We were helped by the bartender promptly as we sat down. But it only took 10 seconds of interaction to figure out this guy had the personality of a wet napkin. Maybe he was having a bad day, but if this was his normal personality, he stinks. Should not be in customer service of any type. He was more concerned with talking about legalizing weed with his hipster friend. Anyways, we ordered our meals. I ordered a burger and my lady ordered a grilled chicken salad. Both items were cooked properly and were good. But kinda like the bartender, it was just boring. This place seems to have so much potential yet it has no energy. Maybe it was an off day. Maybe it was because it was 5:00 on a Tuesday. I don't know, I'm just talking about the experience we had. In no way was our experience bad, it was just very vanilla. I really love having an experience that's so good, that I'm talking about going back before I even leave. But after our Tuesday at Peterson's, I think this was a one and done for us. P.S. - Nobody is perfect and we all do the best we can to learn from our shortcomings and improve in all aspects of our lives. If anyone of any importance at Peterson's reads this and wants to get better, which hopefully they do, here's another piece of advice. Other than my opinions of our actual dining experience, putting your music selection on random instead of playing the entire Green Day catalogue would probably be a smart decision. Cheers!

I eat out alot. This place was recommend to me. Service and staff was excellent. I am kind of particular to what I eat. I want to live to 100. I wanted the Impossible Burger, the only item here that motivated me. I did not order it because I do not like to be penalized to pay $15 when they're normal burgers are less. There is no reason to pay more not to eat meat. I decided on Onion Soup, Sam Adams and Jameson. Totally excellent. You need to come here and get all 3!!!!!!

The best Tomahawk steak in the southern tier!!! We travel to Binghamton for an annual trip, and special ordering tomahawk steaks at Petersens is an absolute highlight!!! Owner/operator Nate always makes the experience extraordinary not only through his incredible culinary skills, but with personal service and a true determination to provide 5 star hospitality service . Thank you for another night we all remember for a long time. Can’t wait to visit again soon!!! Mike

We stopped in for a Thursday dinner. Server (Mike) was friendly and helpful answering all of our questions and making suggestions. My wife ordered french onion soup and the spiedie salad, said it was good. I ordered a burger and fries and that was good. We finished with funnel fries and caramel dipping sauce. All in all, a nice pub to grab some food and drink while watching a game.
