First time visiting, 4 of us went for dinner for my dad's birthday. Small, "intimate" setting. Almost all of the tables are high top bar tables. I'm short and I always have a hard time getting up, but I made it. Most of us are also larger humans but we felt comfortable on the stools - definitely sturdy, just wish the backs were a bit higher. Our servers were super friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They even treated us to a round of one of their house shots for my dad's birthday, which was very sweet of them. We ordered the potato beignets for appy. They were yummy... Very hot when they came out! Not spicy, like we had to cut them open to cool them down before eating. They are made with malt vinegar, which was fun. Almost too vinegary, I'd say, but that's how they're supposed to be. I'd still order them again. And we each ordered a pie and shared and ended up taking almost a whole pie home (it definitely holds well for leftovers!) We tried one of their specials that night with sausage, jalapenos and hot honey; the Drunken Nonna which was good - the addition of the sesame seeds made it interesting and different than what we're used to, I just wish there was more meatball on the pie - we barely knew it was there; the white flame which included Calabrian chili "crunch", but they weren't actually crunchy lol.. still tasty though; and lastly the Hot Debbie. I'm afraid of foods that are too spicy, but I think the Hot Debbie was my favorite! Even with the banana peppers, which I don't typically like. The hot honey was subtle and delicious and the whipped ricotta kind of tones down any of the heat. They used pepperoni cups which I loved. It was really nice. Oh! And I can't forget their old fashioned... Mm!! Looking forward...

Just like Goodnight Kenny in Poughkeepsie, this place has great atmosphere and excellent cocktails. I would say I like it there even better than Goodnight Kenny, which is a much smaller place and a little bit rougher. Unlike Goodnight Kenny, one can order pizza in-house, and it was excellent (also excellent at GK, but one has to go next door to pick it up and then eat it out of a box, though online ordering is available). My husband and I ordered the caps and stems pizza (a mushroom pizza with a white sauce), and I would describe it as coming close to being a deep-fried, thinner crust pizza than the thicker version that one would be served in Poughkeepsie. Would definitely recommend it, at both places, though not if you're on a diet. The cocktails are creative and really not that expensive for the creativity that's put into them, and they came to us super quickly after we ordered them. The staff were super friendly, though we did end up waiting a time or two a little longer than we wanted to, but the place was getting crowded, and everything's forgivable when people are nice! We got there on the Friday before Labor Day at around 7pm and were able to get a high-top table for 2, but it definitely filled up an hour...

This place was recommended to me by a good friend so when my partner and I had a chance to check it out together on a Saturday afternoon, we were really excited. We walked in and it was pretty empty save for a few couples scattered about. No one greeted us or seated us so we headed over to a small corner booth and sat down with a menu. The Bartender came over and promptly asked us to move to a different table or to the bar as they prefer to save this coveted spot for potential customers with families. We got up and sat at a high table with uncomfortable stools without back support (I have spinal issues from 17 years and counting of providing nursing care) and we soon decided this was not the place for us. It felt very uncomfortable- in the seating we were relegated to and the overall unwelcoming vibe. This could have easily been avoided by putting a reserved sign on the said table or having someone seating people. We miss pie for the people- they had great and interesting pizza and friendly staff but eateries come and go around here and you practically trip over pizza places and hip bars- so go somewhere where you are treated well- NOT...

We came here for my hubby’s 40th birthday and had the best time!! This restaurant is magnificent in every single way! Firstly, the staff is the greatest. Ben made us feel so welcome and our waitress was so kind and enthusiastic, helpful and fast. The bartenders are skilled and make the most stunning drinks. I’m sure you can’t go wrong with any of their cocktails, but my favorite was the Aligator Ally. My husband’s favorite drinks were the Mezcal last word and the Pico Back shot. He also made his beer a michelada and was pleasantly surprised with the rim, its pizza yummy seasoning! The pizzas are out of this world. They are like Thin crust Detroit style pizza. We had the caps and stems, That Dill Tho, and the Drunken Nona. The potato beignets were to die for too. I’m sure every single thing on the menu is to heavenly. We will have to come back to try everything else. 100 out of 10 recommend this place. They don’t take reservations, but everyone is so attentive and they seat you very quickly. We ordered drinks from the bar and our table was ready as soon as our drinks were done. This place is a must! It takes pizza to the next level!

Im a big fan of Hudson and Packard so when I found out about Sorry, Charlie, I simply HAD to try it out. The one thing is that we dont live close to the bar so we really had to plan to get here. The bar pies we got are the drunken nonna and the weekly special pie (the vampire slayer) and they were both outstanding! Great crunch, interesting combo of flavors and perfect amount for two people to have some now and some later (they have take away boxes). The vodka raspberry Collins was well made and refreshing. Sometimes simple is best. The thing I liked the least is the cramped interior. It feels like they were going for an intimate feel but underestimated how many people would actually show. Like we saw 6 people squeeze onto a two person table when we were there. Just because you can doesnt mean you should. They could also benefit from an extra person or two working the floor. But overall, my husband and I had a great time and, if we lived closer, would come here much more often.
