O'Daniels GinMill & Grill — Restaurant in City of Lackawanna

Previously a favorite. I was disappointed in the fried shrimp and was made to feel as if it was just too bad. The waitress stated that the manager tried a shrimp that I did not eat. (mind you I did not send them back or complain, I simply stated I didnt think they tasted right to me ). She said that is how we always serve them, next time I should not order the shrimp. I never expected money back or a freebie.I was given a free beer, but that isnt the point. Don't ask me how my meal is and then treat me like I have a problem if I don't like it as if I'm a 2 year old refusing to eat my vegetables. Really disappointed in the server and manager. The manager never spoke to me, but apparently had no problem eating off my plate. Great move, very professional. I will not be back to try something other than the shrimp. Its too bad, because if it wasnt for the service, I would have come back in the future. Ive had less than great meals and returned to restaurants, but never if the service is less than professional. Sorry because I feel the owner is a good guy. The owner has replied to my review and I sincerely appreciate that! Very genuine and professional....

Stopped there instead of Imperial Pizza , ordered a fish $13.99 and beef on wick 9.99. I understand fridays are busy but got there a bit before crowd came. I ordered a Diet Pepsi and then waited 45 mins for my Togo order as I watched the people who seated after I got there getting their meals. The bill came to $33.00 and change. Asked how so much said the pop and to go charge. Bartender said he will take off my pop and still only got back $6.00. Opened box and they forgot my salad that came with my fish dinner somehow the roast beef on wick the beef was kind of gritty and was not hand carved as the menu stated. Fish was good but little greasy , but my cats enjoyed it. Oh well expensive lesson STICK WITH...

my friends and I were refused service, essentially.... Upon arrival we took a seat at a dining table, where the waitress said "I am done serving, you have to order from the bar". When attempting to order from the bar, the bartender said, " only serving wings and fingers." I asked style of wings and was told hot, medium, mild. Never was I told how many, price, or other.. as I was ordering for 3 people. After that, a family walked in and the waitress served them and placed their order.... This place is disgusting as far as I am concerned, and I feel horrible for even leaving a tip for their crappy...
