I was there this past Friday. There was a very long line but finally we had a bowl put together by a very nice woman. We waited to get to where we usually at other stores ( eg. Mamaroneck, NY and 2 different cities in MA) order the Quesadillas but were told we can only order online. I asked them if we could order there as we do in other stores and they said we could not. I asked her how long it would take to make it if we ordered online and we were told they could not take any more orders as they were overwhelmed. So this meal ( 2 dishes) were for my son who had just come out of a very long practice of an intense sport he does and has now only half of his meal. I tried to explain but no exceptions. We ended up getting the Quesadilla from the Chipotle in Mamaroneck. The workers at the New Rochelle store were clearly overwhelmed and working very hard to keep up so this is clearly management who does not have enough workers for that high demand. They should at least stop taking online orders and at least get the costumers who took the time to drive there and waited more than 20 minutes satisfied. As a nationwide chain, you would want to showcase your best from open to close. I, as the only costumer, waited at best 6 minutes to order and once I went through my ordering process I was met with another 4 minutes to pay as they couldnāt ring me for an (to me) uncertain reasons. There had joined one other costumer behind me and the person, on the line after trying to ring me, started their order before cashing me out. The woman I ordered with was perfectly pleasant, apologetic, and very sweet. I was met with another staff member who asked if I had paid and I said no. He walked away after that with no reassurance of being able to pay and get my food. I said āThank youā earnestly and the nice person who prepared my would be tacos asked āDo you not wantā¦.ā And I as walking out said āNope.ā Probably, not nice of me but this is just not the experience you imagine at Chipotle or any big chain. Again, simply unprepared for the start of the day. No chips were bagged, POS was not tested, food was just being out out(which would have be great if the team were able to execute), and finally the team minus the women I spoke to did not show a single inkling of care for the costumer experience. First off, staff is always in such a bad mood and when you are waiting in line to order there's always something thats wrong. Either they are out of something or the temperature of the food is not right it's ridiculous. I have waited 40 minutes before to get food here. Only once that I went I was so surprised how well they made my bowl it was full up to the top. They are so stingy with the protein portions. They will give half a scoop of the chicken when I ask for a regular scoop. When I ask for more they charge me double and only add 3 pieces of chicken. Also, the chips are something I love to get with my bowl and it's so disappointing to see 10 chips in the bag. I usually get two small bags because even getting the large bag its like one small bag. On top of barely any chips, they're so stale yuck. They have also missed items in my order like a whole chicken bowl. Someone please help this Chipotle out.
