My 10yr old daughter and I visited there and had the donut ice cream sandwich with strawberry 🍦 and whipped cream. She loved it and we will visit again. Nice smooth mello atmosphere, sounds of SZA were playing in the background. Shout out to Jahmir & Jaylese, hope I got that right, but what counts is they did. They made the experience welcoming and inviting along with it being dope to a young brother and sister deliver BOMB customer service. We'll see you again soon!!✌🏾
Update: So I visited with my 10yr old daughter a second time on Nov 10 around 6pm and the visit was not so pleasuring as the first. A few kids were in and out leaving there scooters directly on the path of entry. Constant profanity was being used amongst them and the customer service was far less than attentive and/or inviting. It appeared one young lady was trying to make some sort of advertisement for the place using the children who were openly using profanities and in and out the door repeatedly and not paying customers. The 2 young ladies both on either side of the counter were phone in hand and clearly pre-occupied with making a video post. Furthermore this time the I cream donut was prepared with a lack of care as it barely looked desirable. That coupled with everything else and the fact that there were only 3 flavors of ice cream available for selection, coffee, chocolate, and cotton candy Made the selection far less pleasurable from the the first visit. My daughter was made uncomfortable by the hangout atmosphere so it discouraged her from wanting to eat it there. The serving had a very small serving of ice cream and the experience left a distaste with me. Very disappointing for my first visit left us both happy where as this visit was HORRIBLE. Gonna pass on there for a while. Business should get better customer service should be consistent or better not deteriorate. If it was just me that's one thing but to disappoint my child, NOOOO...
Read moreWalked in on June 14th to finally try the new donut place in New Rochelle. I had already heard about the terrible customer service my mom endured from the guy that was behind the counter but I walked in and there was a girl there so I hoped my experience would be different. It was not. First of all the girl at the counter was on the phone, asks what you would like but there aren’t any signs displaying the types of donuts, ingredients or anything at all. Which forces you to ask. She rapidly and sturdily pointed and recited each donut. No gloves on no customer service attitude. Just her bare hands and the tongs. As you pick the donuts you want she rapidly throws them in the box. Not even grabbing the donuts by the side just sticking the tongs right on top of the icing as I watched her do with the person before me and me. I dared to ask for a bag and once she put her FaceTime call down for the second time handed me a bag with a broken handle. Then as I’m waiting for my cab she yells “are you waiting for something, cuz I have to go on my break and I’m closing the store.” So I proceeded to wait for my cab in the rain. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, lousy presentation and the donuts were mediocre! If you want really good donuts and at the very least basic customer service then please don’t go here! Don’t waste your...
Read moreI wish I could give this place any kind of stars but unfortunately I wasn’t even serviced. I walked in with my partner excited to try Grey’s for the first time and we waited for around 10 minutes or so for someone to come to the front just for nobody to show up.
I even called the store phone while inside and it just rang, yet we heard someone shuffling/walking in the back while we waited, spoke and walked around the lobby.
Disappointed, we left to go somewhere else, passed by 15 minutes later and saw a few other people also waiting in the lobby seemingly confused that no one was in the front or in the (store?). Whoever was working on 3/8 in the late afternoon must have either left or went on break but in no way is it okay to have your business run like this. Customers should not be waiting 10, 20 or 15 minutes for someone to walk to the front and service them and if no one is in the store, close it?
Why is there no employees in the store? Not a good first impression. I’m kind of turned off and not even sure I...
