For a local spot I love the sushi š£ tuna striped bass and salmon are the types of raw fish I prefer. I noticed people calling it salty and canāt help but wonder if maybe they put a gallon of soy sauce in it? Lol sushi and sashimi you only dip the end in soy sauce thatās it! Also another one who said āfish is sour must be oldā okay so #1 bad fish isnāt sour it is smelly stinky and wouldnāt be edible and #2 sushi rice has vinegar in it. Thatās the sour taste itās part of the experience š Kitchen items: the pineapple fried rice (with chicken or shrimp both are good) is to die from and itās enough to be a meal on its own. Love the gyoza and the shrimp shumai dumplings (fried or steamed). Great wonton soup. Finally I highly recommend the āspicy Szechuan wontons (ask for sauce on the side) theyāre so delicious! Iāve been a loyal customer for years I know the staff they know me, they have high standards of cleanliness and PROMPT service is a priority so if youāre a slow customer, you are making them take longer to serve the rest of us who like this place so go back to Pelham with the āworld revolves around me Iām Karen from...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIn my opinion the best sushi spot in New Rochelle. But unfortunately, half the time, my experience is ruined and money wasted because no matter how much I repeat and they acknowledge my request, they STILL put spicy mayo on my food instead of on the side and it kills the whole moment for me. $60 wasted today! It's a 50/50 chance that they actually remember to leave the spicy mayo on the side. Half the time I am satisfied and very happy with my food. Tonight .. I am suffering And disappointed... I don't like wasting food so I'm suffering. I would've definitely asked for my money back if I had dined in... Be careful with your...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIf cross contamination is for you and tiny mediocre sushi quality then this place is for you. Ive had and seen better quality and size per sushi each peice in Supermarket sushi, rice quality was low and broke apart very easily. I also experienced cross contamination of sushi here from a Doordash order, involving shellfish, when there was no shellfish in the order at all. Its very disturbing, because every professional sushi place has always been aware to not cross contaminate across the board , whether specified or not. You must start with a clean slate not reuse. I will continue to travel to Bronxville for my...
