Just opened. Getting their sea legs but can’t beat the reasonable prices and inspired falafels, roast beef sandwich, and cocktails! Great vibe and place to chill! Adding this: Pastrami and great potato salad and place is getting more organized with staff. Looking forward to the upcoming Sunday brunches. Keep supporting local! These Liberty St businesses do have to put up with some stress like shoplifting and other troubles that come with running a small place like this. It’s a great venture by a local resident and deserves support and understanding! I’ve always had a great time the four or five times I’ve been in so far..so I’m surprised at some of the negative comments here. Food was adequate but very pricey. Service was bad considering price. $11.00 for two eggs, 3 slices of bacon and a cup of coffee. Falafel to go $12.00, supposed to come with a pita pocket. I asked for pita separate from falafel, (my wife hates things that are soggy). Get the order home and no pita. On service: No utensils with meal, waitress pointed to plastic forks for me to get my own. No salt and pepper, waitress pointed to them where the utensils were. When ready to go as a courtesy I took my plate up to the counter for her to take care of and she pointed across the room to the bin for me to place it in. Not twice in a lifetime. food was good, service was terrible, everything is extremely overpriced from the food to the pantry items, to the baked goods. the last time i was here i noticed the pastries case was full of fruit flies FULL! I did say something to the girl at the front… she then relayed my message to the owner and as i peeked over to watch her i seen the face & reaction the owner gave and it was very distasteful & unprofessional… i feel bad for their workers smh… lastly some BAKERS ADVICE: get a NEW pastry case if the one you have now CLEARLY isn’t storing the food SAFELY!
