Chuck is a great guy and has become a friend. I have plenty of friends, but not all of them make food like Chuck. This is possibly the best meatball sub I've ever had. I am addicted to eating it. First things first: the meatballs are not dry! Aficionados will acknowledge that this is, sadly, all too rare. And they are adequately seasoned. Second: the sauce is very high quality. Good tomatoes, so naturally sweet. Italian style, so the tomatoes do the talking. Third: the bread is delicious on its own. Wonderful as a side, better as part of a sandwich. Fourth: the cheeseāparm and mozzarella, I think? Not overwhelming, but indispensable. Fifth: a dash, I think, of terrific olive oil. That's it, so far as I know. I can't believe I waited this long to try a meatball parm here. My biggest regrets are not ordering 2, followed by that I waited this long to try it.
This was one of, if not the best mbp's I've ever eaten.
My opinion doesn't carry much weight, just some guy talking about food on the Internet but... just in case this can sway someone reading it, seriously, stop what you are doing and go try this place.
They put so much care into this sandwich and I'm sure everything else they do. The bread was perfectly toasted and dressed, the homemade meatballs and sauce along with the melted cheese are so balanced that every bite was perfection. The perfect union of flavor and texture and one killer sandwich.
