De Dee's Dairy — Restaurant in City of Niagara Falls

Prior to today , I would've given Dee Dee's 5 stars..today unfortunately I had to witness the owner with NO GLOVES touching the unwrapped stacked cones that were either being inventoried or simply being moved around to make lower Pyle's that maybe were stacked to high. This was taking place as my wife and I were eating our ice cream with CONES outside next to a huge window and an interior WELL lit ice cream making etc area where I observed this from..so I went and talked to the manager who offered to make us a new one which we absolutely and obviously didn't want..I wanted my money back , and I received it. The manager of course had taken sides with her boss and said " he always wears gloves when he's back here" I said look I stood by that big window and clear as day seen what I seen period. Now honestly by this point I was more disappointed and we just left..the issue now is covid 19 guidelines were NOT being followed and we come here maybe 3 times a week. This experience has me nervous for my wife and I for the next 14 days...it also saddens the both of us because this was our special ice cream place that we shared together and...

De Dee's Dairy is DELICIOUS! Despite only accepting cash, I could not recommend this place more highly! I don't find myself up in Niagara Falls very often, but if the weather's warm, you better believe I'm heading over there! I first tried this place at the behest of a relative and I'm surprised I'd never heard of it before! They serve Perry's brand ice cream (as well as frozen yogurt and other allergen-sensitive items) but it's THE LARGEST selection I've ever seen that is the proverbial cherry on top for me! I'm absolutely in awe of the sheer number of choices. Personally, I'm a big fan of combining White Lightning (dark chocolate ice cream with minty white striations throughout) and Grasshopper Pie (mint ice cream with Oreo-type cookie crumbles)! The serving size is phenomenal and you can order to-go pints or quarts if you'd rather take your ice cream home. I love this option because De-Dee's has a ton of flavors that aren't carried in grocery stores for us lowly folk. 😉 All that to say: Be sure to go treat yourself to something sweet at...

I highly recommend starting with a baby cone. Yes, that's right, I said baby cone. I gave a new customer in line with me that same advice and she didn't believe me. I suggested looking at mine before she ordered. When my "baby cone" was handed to me, she was astonished. She quickly said, what baby can eat all that🤣. It's the size of a large in some places. The banana split is too huge for me to eat alone!

The line can be long at times. It does move fairly fast. It's worth the wait. There is indoor and covered outdoor seating. It's important to note that it is cash only. Also, it is a seasonal business from about March(ish)...
