Galassi's Sub Shop — Restaurant in City of North Tonawanda

I was told this was a good place. Ordered their Nite-mare sub which is steak and sausage. The bread for the sub was good, but the meat was steak and sausages square patties. Totally disappointed. I didn't ask if it was shredded or not, but I don't think it would've mattered. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat it. It tasted very bland. The salad was decent and fresh, the cannoli was actually good. Will I ever give this place a second chance, no 👎🏾 I asked the clerk for napkins for this sub, and she confirmed that they were in the bag. But when I arrived at my final destination, which was I park, no napkins. I was a little pissed, because I double checked and ask before i left. It's ok, this review I would consider fair. I usually don't leave negative reviews because it's not worth it. I won't write a bad review because stuff happens. But when the staff is less the kosher when you ask a direct question, there's no forgiving that. I had hoped for a nice meal, I'll say, half of it was decent....... This restaurant is in N Tonawanda. People in that neighborhood are probably use to it. You're not getting someone, to drive out the way...

So, this place gets way too much hype for their steak and cheese subs, and if I could give zero stars, I would. My husband and I decided to stray from our usual, and try it out one night. Honestly, they were the worst steak and cheese subs that we have ever eaten. They use flat ribeye steaks, in case you were wondering (unlike the usual steak and cheese at most places with break away ribeye) and it was all so over cooked, rubbery, and DISGUSTING that we couldn't even eat it. Not to mention, they charge a ridiculous amount for their food. Which before we tried it, we thought it was just because it was good stuff. Nope. I never write reviews however this one was necessary, if I could leave 0 stars I would. This is by far the worst resturant I have ordered from. I ordered chicken fingers and fries. You don't get a particularly large amount but it's whatever. The fingers are small. My issue is, I had found plastic in the fries and there was a piece of plastic stuck in one of the fingers. The plastic was thin and flakey, I also developed a really bad stomach ache after eating what little of the food i could, I threw it out after I found plastic stuck in the fingers.
