Humphrey's Gourmet to Go, Inc. — Restaurant in City of Oneonta

It pains me to leave a star, but google wont let me post a half or no stars... I cant say it was the worst dining experience of my life, but its the worst I can remember...

Walked in with high hopes after reading the reviews. The menu looked fantastic. We were quickly seated and offered menus (only one other person was seated). Ordered drinks, apps and meals. Time for an excellent lunch. Drinks came out, then waited 20 mins for the fried mozzarella (My drink has been empty for 15 mins, and I never got another drink the whole time I was there!). Then!!! Waitress comes out and says "we're out of potato wedges". I liken this to a restaurant running out of fries...ok, I can deal...i'll have the chips (but whomever does the ordering needs a good lesson). The other person with me asked for the couscous. 46 minutes after we placed our order it came out. I ordered my burger medium, it was well done...it happens....and I had couscous on my plate, not chips. My guest ordered a chicken Caesar wrap with no onions....it was loaded with onions.....and they had chips on their plate.

The presumable owner asked how the food was. Answer "not very good, i doubt we'll be back". The owner asked why, and we explained. I almost laughed when she said "What? you dont make mistakes?". I asked to have the wrap taken off the bill, because it was still sitting on the plate. I paid for the burger because I did eat it....after all...I wasted my whole lunch break waiting for it.

PS: Please replace the light bulbs that are out over the bar. PPS: There was a woman sitting on the patio when we walked in...she was quite huffy puffy about something. I did notice that nobody helped her the entire time we were there, and that she left a good portion of her food sitting there. You should probably grab those plates before you head...

Walked in, looked great since it changed from just "to go", good looking menu. Order our food, waitress comes back to let us know there are no potato wedges. No big deal, but the complaining that she did to a friend at the bar seemed very unprofessional. Then she left, maybe the end of her shift, but no one came back. Other patrons entered and no one came to them or to let us know what was going on with our order for 30 minutes. We ended up waiting for 45 minutes for mozz sticks, a wrap and a burger. The staff that finally came by complained about their coworkers and our food had the sides wrong for each of us (not a big deal) but I had specifically asked for no onions and in my wrap was a huge spread of onions. When I said something, I was told "mistakes happen, we're a restaurant. You've never made a mistake?". I have, it was coming here. I left dissatisfied and with a bad taste in my mouth, not from the onions, but from how everything was handled by the staff. Food I did taste was decent but not worth it, waiter did take my wrap off the bill, but the woman from the kitchen...

Ordered gourmet take out to my hotel last night. We waited 45 minutes which was not bad. Unfortunately the food arrived to the front desk, and was missing an entree. The burger and fries were flavorless and not hot. Our buffalo chicken dip was good. I got a side of mashed potatoes with my meal that came even though my food didn't. They were not hot, warm at best, and had, LITERALLY, half a potato unmashed in them. I guess this may be proof that they aren't bagged but.... really? We called about my missing entree and were told they would make sure we got it, okay great thanks. We had to wait long for that so I made our appetizer my meal, along with my not hot, semi mashed potatoes. You would think perhaps the restaurant would have refunded us for the price of my meal, but I guess they aren't into that whole "we made an error, we should pay for it" thing. My meal finally arrived and was burnt on top and dry. It made an alright leftovers meal today. I don't think we will order...
