Wades is a small old fashion diner in Oswego NY which is well known for breakfast. The locals all visit and the word has gotten out because when we visited on a Thursday there was a line out the door. Definitely worth the wait. Wades serves breakfast and is only open until noon. Raisen bread is a signature on the menu. And you may also buy a loaf to bring home. Home made nice thick slices filled with rasin and cinnamon soft and delicious. I highly reccomed it. If your a coffee lover you will love the fact that Wades provides a full craft of coffee at the table.( just like the old days) Wades starts out with water and proceeds with your order. Unless you order a small juice be prepared for a large glass of ice cold juice accompanied with a straw for slirping. I ordered the bacon and cheese omlett. Which I highly recommend. Breakfast omlett comes with home fries and your choice of toast which of course was the raisen. The bacon was not at all greasy cut up into small pieces and was accompanied with the right amount of cheese. It didn't ooze out into the plate. Homefries were delicious. A nice crust on the sides but potatoes melted in your mouth with full flavor of a potatoe. Not at all overly seasoned. This was our first visit to Wades but won't be our last

Wonderful little diner in Oswego. The seats could use an upgrade but overall the interior is good enough for comfortable seating and while the establishment is small, the layout is done well so they can fit plenty of parties. Outside seating is also an added bonus when the weather cooperates. The food was excellent and served quickly, hot, and accurate. Coffee carafé on the table! An accomodation that has been lost on many other diners and restaurants. The staff was friendly, helpful, and non-instrusive. They stayed busy and worked hard the entire time my party was there. Excellent service! Highly recommend!

Breakfast at Wade's Diner in Oswego. It's been nearly 40 years since my last visit. The building is new (due to a fire I 2016 and they've just built an outdoor patio to accommodate Corona distancing rules. Other than that and an expanded menu, it's just as I remembered it. Home fries and homemade cinnamon-raisin bread are still fantastic, and the wait staff still commits the orders to memory. It's an impressive feat considering it's changed hand twice since my college days. Congratulations and thanks to Lance and Sara Pezzlo, who've owned it since 2018 for carrying on a great tradition.

The service wasnt good ( like I inconvenienced the waitress for putting in an almost $40 order and needed it to go. I was never offered a menu and when I asked for one that pift the waitress again . ) I didn’t wait long for the order to be ready and that was nice . I’m not sure if it was just me but I didn’t finish my taters and my stomach was upset after the original sit down and again after I ate more of them like 5 hrs later my stomach was upset . Idk it may have been me but I had no gut issues before or after I ate the breakfast taters . The eggs I ordered were supposed to be over medium ( so they would survive the drive home ) but they were not over medium cuz they broke all over the inside of my container and mixed with everything else and made my toast soggy so I had to toss the toast out and make some at home. . Over all I was pretty disappointed ( I’ve been to wades multiple times before this with at most only mild issues now and again . My best piece of advice is GREAT COSTUMER SERVICE IS A MUST THESES DAYS WITH PRICING SO HIGH ON EVERYTHING! Remember when a customer comes in THEY ARE CHOOSING TO HELP KEEP YOUR DOORS OPEN , OWNERS PAID AND KEEPING FOOD ON THEIR TABLES FOR THEIR FAMILIES, THE COOKS AND WAITSTAFF ARE FEEDING THEIR FAMILIES WITH TIPS AND PAY ALSO. The prior stated ONLY HAPPENS IF THE CUSTOMER COMES BACK ( there’s a lot of GREAT breakfast spots in oswego to...

Wades is an All Around great Family Oriented Restaurant in Oswego NY.I rarely give 5 Stars but Wades was well deserving of it in My Opinion. We Visited on a Sunday during peak Morning Hours and even though The Place was relatively Busy it did not show in either the Service nor the food. Our Server was extremely Sweet,Professional ,knowledgeable and was able to make us feel as if We were the only table in The Place even though that was the furthest thing from the truth. At no Time did She seem Overwhelmed or flustered and Me being in the food industry know its not an easy task. The Food was Also Extremely good from Presentation to actual taste.I found it was also Very reasonably priced.Again being in the food industry I know and understand food costs and I think They were well below the Typical 300 percent mark up and it didn't show at all in food quality.I will definitely be returning and urge others to...
