I presented for an IV infusion on February 4. I told Dator and the RN, who also works at Oswego Hospital ICU named Stephanie that I had a stiff hip. I told him I would need assistance getting up off the table because my hip didn’t bend properly. This Stephanie, when it came time for the bed transfer, grabbed my thigh. She was assisting me to sit up. She lifted my thigh in the air.. that was February 4 and she pulled on the tissues in my leg. I had a hip replacement in Syracuse. I told them it didn’t work out and I had revision surgery. My prothesis both the cup and the stem were misplaced. The cup was redone and I apparently have to live with this now. I have to treat the hip correctly and again she didn’t listen. I showed her how it was stiff and she pulled on my thigh up towards the ceiling. I’ve had 2 to 3 massages a week for the stiffness and it comes right back. I had to take a course of prednisone, which is tough to handle and it didn’t work. What really eats at me is that I called to try to talk to the Spa owner to say something about the nurse not listening and they won’t call me back. I left a message saying please call me at a certain time. I could tolerate the drive as a passenger to Syracuse but the kind of care you get from Dator and Stephanie. My healthcare providers are astounded at the condition I’m in. It’s affected my blood pressure. I didn’t fall asleep till four in the morning it hurt so much. When I said something, I was told she’s been a nurse for 23 years. Dator said she’d been a nurse for 30 years. Little hyperbole here? That code of silence between healthcare providers that’s more than deafening. I would say go here for infusions at your own peril. If anything goes wrong if anything goes wrong, they’re going to defend each other and you are screwed. The Care is not medically Sound, nor is it medically safe. I showed her in three different ways that my hip was already stiff. I bent my good knee up to the air and my bent my stiff one to show her. I leaned against the side of the table I had the infusion on and told her I don’t sit on the table, rather I pivot and stand up. When I got down on the table I told her look you see I don’t really bend my hip and I just need a little bit of help getting up. But she didn’t listen. Add icing to injury, they kept telling me she had all this experience. But dear God people with five 10 15, 2030 years of experience make mistakes. She made an awful mistake. It was an awful error in judgment. When I was getting up, I was screaming to her let my leg go to the floor let go of my leg let go of my leg, my good leg had hit the floor. She was lifting my hip that doesn’t bend normally farther than it goes- the stem in my femur is off by 15-20 degrees and she pulled on my hip. I’ve been standing to eat Dinner because the swelling bills every day now for almost 4 weeks. Then their next excuse, we don’t know you very well. I said no I spent quite a bit of time, explaining the limitations of my hip. I’ve had to have MRIs, CT scans, x-rays, go to doctors, get blood work all sorts of stuff. I give everybody the same drill, and Stephanie didn’t listen. Stephanie is the only one who is done this to me with the injury to my hip in two years and nine months. Again, go here at your own peril. The arrogance and incompetence shines loud and clear. I repeat, don’t go here for infusions. to add insult to injury I requested my medical records and they won’t call me back. Dator won’t call me back. The front desk won’t help me get my medical records. They said I have to go through Dator and Dator won’t call me back. That is...
Read moreThis is by far the best wellness center we have been to! The center is BEYOND GORGEOUS, the ambassadors are all so kind and sincere, and the Owner Tammy is on the next level. We drove an hour away for a Salt Room experience as my Fiancé is plagued with sinus infections, we expected a nice visit but were absolutely blown away. From the moment you walk in you're treated like family. We expressed interest in the oxygen bar initially but weren't sure how we'd feel after the salt room and when we came out our ambassador told us the Owner would let us experience the oxygen bar at no cost!! What a huge surprise that truly wasn't expected! We were also given a tour of the facility and were gitty with excitement to try everything, so much so we came back the very next day for a couples float and what a treat that was! I deal with a lot of mental health problems and I am 100% honest when I was in that float I didn't think of anything! Our minds completely shut down and we were able to finally relax and feel at peace with everything. I actually ended up referring my therapist to Aqua spa because it was the first place in a long time where I felt like I could be myself and actually relax! I absolutely cannot wait to go back there. The guidance, professionalism, and beautiful attitudes of everyone that works there is so rare to find these days!! Contrary to other spas it is not intimidating, it is affordable, and you will not regret...
Read moreThis place is amazing and so ZEN and fabulous that you would think you are in Las Vegas or something! I went here for the day with my daughter to celebrate her birthday and we did the Ultimate package. It was such a special mother daughter day and 5 hours of pure bliss! The staff is so kind and knowledgable, the owner Tammy is the sweetest Entrepreneur who truly cares about the experience each guest has. For our time there we had a personal escort around, Taylor, who show us what each of the rooms were and she explained how everything works and its benefits. My favorite was the FLOAT tank. I felt like an Angel floating and the 60 minutes flew by! The massage chairs are no joke and really do get in there to work out your knots. I loved the RED Light therapy room and the Salt room as well. They provide you with the robes to wear throughout your visit as well as towels. The only thing I would recommend you bring is a water "Swim" cap if you don't want to get your hair wet when in the float tank and your favorite brush for your hair afterwards. I went in with stiff shoulders and stress and left so zen that I slept like a baby the following two nights. Having the time to do self care is so important and this environment is so healing. I can't wait to go back and highly recommend a visit here. It really does feel like you are...
