Bean Runner Cafe — Restaurant in City of Peekskill

First time in town, surprised wife with a weekend hiking trip; went to Bean Runner for breakfast:

1. location of business is quaint, by a main road yet it feels secluded and quiet.
2. they have a stage! Live music!? 🤔
3. the owner and staff are incredibly friendly, if not "robotic". By that I mean there's no real excitement for customer service(reason for 4 stars rate) but i repeat, THEY ARE INCREDIBLY FRIENDLY! I worked in 2 gyms and 5 different restaurants, maybe my expectations on what customer service should be is too high...but I also think when it comes to customer service, there's no "ceiling", you should always want to go higher.
4. holy $h*÷! Their fruit smoothies are so f-ing good! It taste as if they add yogurt instead of just milk and/or water, and I gotta give a genuinely hearty golf clap!
5. got a bacon, egg and cheese on a croissant for breakfast: bacon was a bit dry, and that's my ONLY "complaint"!

First time and we loved it, I had the Lobster Bisque soup and it was just delishhhhh wished it came with the crackers and I also had the Cross Country wrap (Chicken, guacamole, grilled and peppers, cheddar cheese, salsa, sour cream & lettuce on a spinach wrap) and OMG my mouth just danced with joy (It did take a lille longer to get our food). Now let's talk about inside, I love how they support local artist as they have their paintings displayed on their walls and you can purchase them right there on the spot. Plenty of seating (inside and out), very clean and loved their homemade lemonade. Will stop by again when we are up in Peekskill. I have visited Bean Runner multiple times and each time I visit I am very happy with my experiences. It's a very nice place to visit that has a great menu and freshly made coffees. They have local artist's artwork presented on their walls and feature live music events on Fridays and Saturdays. I haven't been to their live performances yet I plan on checking them out in the near future. I highly recommend this place to just come in with yourself or friends to relax and take in the atmosphere they have to offer.
