My friend and I were looking for an interesting place to eat after our hike at Anthony's nose and I wanted to check out a new town I hadn't been to yet. So we settled on this restaurant after seeing the international menu with unique options. We're SO glad we stopped in. The waitress/bartender was so pleasant and welcoming. The atmosphere was interesting and looked a little "cold" modern sleek steel but with plants and colorful art. It looked like a club lounge because there was a big open space but I didn't know at the time; only from reading reviews it looks like this place turns into a nightclub, which honestly sounds fun. I love a good nightclub that actually serves REAL food. Anyway, I ordered the Fufu which I've never had before, with the Green Garden Bliss Soup and snapper. My friend ordered the Curry Panko Prosciutto Stuffed Chicken. Both were amazing!! I am salivating now as I'm writing this review because I want to eat those dishes all over again. We also had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ofori and learning about his story. Such a nice man!!! He's going to be cooking for 3 days straight as a way to feed the homeless while breaking a World Record . I'm so proud of him!!

Group of 4 had dinner at Ofori’s. If you’re like me, you’ve been wanting to try it but haven’t gotten around to it. Well, definitely give it a go! We thoroughly enjoyed the food, cocktails, and service. Pics are the ghanachanga (one with shrimp other with chicken), the OMG burger with cheese melted on top of the bun and gold leaf in that, and U fried rice with shrimp. Also had coconut shrimp appetizer and calamari- excellent! The desserts were meh, but ok. Only thing we didn’t like was the lack of customers. And that’s on us. We should be supporting all local owned restaurants that are quality, and open to expanding our palette and trying new flavors. Three courses and cocktail for about $50 each. Next time I will try the fish or Ghana stews!

We went out for a birthday dinner and boy, we were not disappointed. We started with drinks-Ghana punch 😋, appetizers, wings & calamari, the best by far. Very fresh, crispy yet not overly crispy, delicious. We next opted for the Ginger punch, we were not a fan, too much ginger, had to let the ice melt a bit, but if you like ginger, then go for it. Now to the meal. I had the Jerk Ghana chicken, it came with jollof rice and plantain, not enough rice, but overall delicious, oh and you get two whole chicken legs, delicious. The waitress checked in on us, which is nice. The owner/chef which was a finalist on Chopped, season 36, Ep 3 came out to say hello, did that for all the tables. The place is nice, very new, since March. But it’s a hidden gem. Aside from HH, He can and should host different events, I.e, Wings Wednesdays, Karaoke, spoken word/poetry night, maybe a local band, just to name a few. Advertise and walla, business is booming. But would definitely recommend and come back, even for the distance. Oh I gave 4 stars for the service only because we went on a horrible, rainy night and it wasn’t busy, but not sure of her service during...

We ate at Ofori's in Peekskill last night, very interesting food. The "salsa" has I don't know what in it but I ate almost 3 bowls. They kept refilling it. I had oxtail, which was very savory and wife had Coconut Shrimp tacos. Both were outstanding. Spicy for sure but not over the top. Ofori is a talented chef who builds layers of flavor rather than just add ingredients. You cannot taste the ingredients individually, they meld into what we found to be tongue tantalizing entertainment. BTW, he was on the TV show Chopped, he was a finalist, not sure if he won. Granted, this may not be food for the meat and potatoes crowd (nothing wrong with that either!) but we like new food adventures, I can prepare most common dishes at home so we don't go out often. They do have burgers and steak if you have someone that does not like different tastes. Our server Nefertiti was very accommodating and helpful. She explained all and met our every request. One hint, eat towards the back if later at night. Some people sit at the bar for the very interesting cocktails and can be boisterous. We will be back for another...
