These people were at the farmers market and I asked the person who was working the table if they had anything that was vegan and they pointed to macaroons. Not really familiar with the ingredients of macaroons but I trusted this person so I purchase them. My stomach felt a little weird after but I just thought it was the sugar. My mom came to visit me and I took her there and then I found out that they weren't vegan because I asked the person there and they said no macaroons are not vegan. The only vegan thing you guys had was this tremendously small $6.50 brownie what a rip-off too sugary unhealthy it's not even made in house. It's not even worth $5 for a cookie. I don't think so.
UPDATE:
THE BROWNIE WAS RIDICULOUSLY SMALL okay for $6.50 I should have took a picture of it was ridiculous first of all you cannot even justify that price cuz you do not use high quality ingredients I know high quality ingredients as I am in the industry myself I am a baker I had the first cupcake business in Beacon. Gluten free is not vegan. I won't be giving your gross cookie store another chance. I rather go to the Little Loaf over at the Poughkeepsie Underwear Factory on North Cherry Street. That stuff is actually fresh. Freshly baked with fresh ingredients and...
Read moreVisited Midnight Munchie on 7/14. We looked at the offering & decided on macarons. The display was positioned at the front edge on the left side of the waist high counter. There is another covered display at the right side of the counter with other items that you can choose & then they are fresh baked in 10 minutes. When we ordered the macarons that were on the display on the left side of the counter the young lady picked them from the display. We should have said something right then & there. The cookies are out in the open directly where just about every customer stands while talking among themselves or to the staff. In this day in age we should all have learned about spreading respiratory disease via our spittle. Covid may be over however, I don’t want anyone else’s anything & I don’t want to give them mine. The display should have a spit guard at best. As soon as we walked out the door my partner said that she had no idea we were getting “those” cookies. We both thought they were just there for display & they’d be getting our cookies from the back. My partner then said; well we made our $10.82 donation & in the trash they went when we arrived home. We do frequent other bakeries & all backed goods are under glass covering as...
Read moreMy first & prob only visit!! The rap music dropping f bombs & vulgar language was too much for me! I like rap but I could not believe what was playing!! Poor choice for a business. Was there on ladies night we could barely talk or hear each other with that music blasting. I learned new curse words🤣. The choc chip dough had a major visual difference in dough balls, not sure the one bite I took, tasted burnt.. maybe the lighter one would have had a less butter: burnt taste.. the cookies are not baked in the middle it is like eating raw, warm dough. It literally oozed out.. I like a fully baked cookie. I couldn’t eat it. At $18 for 6 cookies I expected more.. the cookies did harden a few hours later, but ended up in garbage. They tasted like burnt butter. The young lady behind counter finally changed music when we were leaving after hearing us talk about it.. This store fell flat for me! Once a month we get out, was an extremely...
