Jack's Live on Water Street — Restaurant in City of Rochester

3 stars given for the amazing Bartender.. AWESOME! Atmosphere is okay, food was good for the price. However management needs a course on restaurant hospitality, especially when using a large pit bull to ask a 60 yr old 5.5 foot tall man to leave the bar after cursing out the awesome bartenter, mind you the "manager" stands 6.3 and at least 190lbs and the other staff member stood 5.8 and 190-200 lbs.. but yet neither of them could simply ask the man to leave while escorting him out.. instead the "manager" decided it was best to show off his vicious dog and "muscles".. need to understand your community! Not a place for the St.Paul! Don't charge mid class price for a ghetto...

We have fallen in love with this place.

Delicious food, excellent cocktails, and immaculate service. The food is elevated, made with fresh ingredients and prepared perfectly. The drinks are new and refreshing, again with fantastic ingredients. The service has been fast, reliable and incredibly friendly. You're welcomed in, made to feel at home and treated like family.

It is wonderful to see this part of Rochester's history revitalized in such a refreshing and thoughtful way to add to St. Paul Quarter's vibrance. Jack's really delivers on all it promises. Absolutely worth making this your next...
