Mac's Philly Steaks — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Disheartened by a recent experience at Mac Philly Steak in Rochester, NY. The lack of respect from an employee left a sour taste. It’s disheartening when a place you enjoy falls short on customer service. Hoping for better encounters in the future.

My colleague and i eat there almost every week order the same thing every week. We even go as far as sitting in the same seats as well. Anyways, today we ordered our regular. Took us a few minutes before we could order because she was tending to her toddler daughter. Which is fine we don’t know what other people are going through, again i get that. She took our order maybe she was distracted but one of our orders didn’t get sweet potato fries. Which my colleague went up front to tell her then the young lady began cursing and yelling. So he sat down yes they were exchanging words between each other but nothing disrespectful on our end. The young lady continued to use profanity in front of her daughter then even went as far getting into his face and continued to curse Him out. Maybe she wanted a reaction from us which we are grown adults that’s highschool drama save that for home this isn’t the palce and time for it. Then the cook in the back wanted to defend her. Lol also she called the police on us so we continued to eat our food and left with the nice officers. Never again will you get our business. I always tell employees i work close with for all my businesses i work with you never know who you’re talking to on the opposite side of you. Always keep your composure and represent the business...

Absolutely love this place and the people there! Have been door dashing from there but finally went to the actual restaurant on Exchange Blvd. and was not disappointed. The folks there are the best! Wanted to try something different as I was hooked on the Country Sweet chicken finger sandwich. Tried one of their personal favorites (Chicken Cheese Steak with boom boom sauce and country sweet sauce, etc.) It was just what I wanted YUM! Their bbq pork fries rock! Portions are perfect IMO. Totally recommend you try them out. Update 10/28/22...ALWAYS great food from here. Totally recommend their Boom Boom plate, it's amazing. Chicken is amazing, spicy and delicious. This place is disgusting! I ordered a Philly cheesesteak through uber eats. The bag arrives sealed 👌. First I opened the Cajun fries and thought a little underwhelming for $5. But I ate them and they are actually good 👍🏾. Then I open up my sandwich, and the smell is so good. I'm ready to eat so I tear a small piece off and look and behold a very long black curly hair is in the sandwich 🤮. I called the store AFTER reporting to Uber eats about the situation to be greeted with rude employees to include the shift Manger. So corporate if you're reading this that whole shift should be fired. I ordered my food at 3pm...
