Side Bar — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Stop by for the first time because had some amazing views and opinions from my family and friends..First off, they have security my ID was checked but not my Husband's what was that about...be fair If I was single don't want no young whipper snapper in my face with the bull..Anyway, great decor, comfy seats, we sat where there was space..It was a take your friends or couple type vibe..You can see the owner appearing not to know who we were, he did speak/greet us but a few regulars were embraced. Family vibe, they seem to have only family/friends working, did not get food because they ran out of chicken and closed the kitchen. My sis had the whiting they put country sweet sauce on it after she said plain because she doesn't like jerk, too hot. They fish had flavor but to wait over 45 minutes for okay food, hard and over cooked. Waited about 20 minutes at bar...We had a bottle of Ciroc($200) for a $40 bottle, rip off..I know of inflation but damn..It did come with 2 gallons of your choice of chaser and water bottles. No bucket of ice. We were able to hear almost everyone's conversation because the music was lower than dinner music..We pre gamed, so we were already lit..The bathrooms were clean and plenty of supplies for women to keep it fresh..Definitely a spot for just quick date night drinks then hit up somewhere else or just stay, vibe was quiet....

Jerk chicken was dried out. The bartender was doing the best he could by himself and had to wait until the owner got there to see if my food could be remade. The owner said no and told the bartender I would need to put in a new order which is literally the same thing. The owner is not friendly and has terrible customer service. The workers seem like they hate their job or maybe they hate the owner, they dont laugh smile or really interact with customers other than slapping up 1 person they knew who came in. I have been coming there since they first opened and I go there less & less. I was only their for my niece birthday. I hope they improve on the customer service as I still support their business for now. The food was real good after they remade the order. My drinks were really good also! See fb for further detail.
