Burgers, fries, breakfast plates & other comfort bites served in a no-frills American diner.

Food was terrible. I ordered off the dinner menu. I got the golden brown fried chicken and got French bread as a side. As you can see in the picture, that was NOT fried chicken. It was grilled chicken that may have been thrown in the fryer. My girlfriend got the steak with a tossed salad as a side. We both got our food on the bread as a sandwich, even though the menu said nothing about it being a sandwich. They then forgot my gfs salad, so I had to ask about that. They brought it over and it’s literally just lettuce with 2 tomato slices on top. I ask where my side is (the French bread), and she says the bread on my chicken is the French bread. Yet my gfs steak was also in bread even though she didn’t ask for it, so she got the bread and a salad and I got just the bread. After I brought this up, the waitress did offer to give me another side free of charge, so I got the potato. Came as mashed potato’s with gravy with corn and a cut of steak with mushrooms. The mushrooms were clearly canned, as well as the corn. The steak had no seasoning, the mashed potatos were bland, and the gravy did not taste good. The milkshake was the best part of the meal. Never coming here again, I’m even seeing mixed reviews about the one thing they’re known for: the garbage plate

I know the photo makes you want to know the details. I hate sharing this. Mark's was one of my fav spots when in the city late night. The food tastes good, usually the food is prepared quickly and the everyone at the register and grabbing takeouts are genuine and friendly. Last night was an experience that not only makes me write this but also shares why I will not eat there again. My husband used the restroom and shared the photo on the left. I tried to rationalize every reason possible to not be KAREN. My apologies to anyone offended by the label. But, i felt that as a customer, I had the right to share this with management. I politely asked for his time, because I immediately felt that I interrupted the video he was watching. Well, my sidey sence was on point, I did interrupt his video AND HE DIDN'T CARE ABOUT THE CENTIPEDE in the restroom. YUCK. THIS IS HOW NOT TO TREAT PEOPLE OR HOW TO CARE ABOUT THE HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITY THAT YOU ARE SERVING.

BUGS IN FOOD!!!!! I ordered a cheeseburger plates from Marks on 7/12. After nearly completing the first burger I noticed a long cooked object that looked like an insect. Thinking it was just a piece of steak I began to pull it apart to see the texture. Thats when I realized it was a cooked centipede. I immediately called and the said to call door dash for money back, there was nothing they could do. But I didnt want the refund, but to inform them of the issue. DO NOT EAT AT MARKS!!!!!!!! In the pictures tou can see that cooked steak isnt white on the inside. You can see tentacles, as well as separated legs. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

Got 3 plates, all with home fries and they weren't home fries, it was basically potatoes cur in half and raw in the middle, I have ordered here before and it has been good, was extremely disappointed as who wants raw potatoes In their plate when ordering home fries? I understand it was busy, but I would've much rather waited for the potatoes to be cut and cooked into home fries, (which is what I ordered), other than that the plates would've been good, but all 3 had so called home fries like this! Will not order here again! It's a shame because I have never had issue here before!
