A true hidden gem in the heart of the city: this place is home. I lived in southwedge for about 5 years and would come here whenever I could make their hours! Now that I moved I swing by for lunch every now and then, but not as much as I should. The women who run the place are sweethearts, and always will refer to you either by first name or a pet name ( hun, sweetheart, etc) as soon as you walk in. Service is fast too!!!! Like order and served in 10 minutes or less! The regulars crack me up, charactures of Rochesterians from all walks of life in the best way possible. The vibes here are timeless. Also last, but not least the food is great. Its nothing an average food critic would rave about, however its homey and really makes me feel like my moms cooking for me in the way only classic diner fair can. Try the mugsy burger or the breakfast special!

One of my favorite go to diners. Great service, great food, and great prices. Truly one of Rochesters better diners in my opinion. Great prices, great people. Lots of regulars. I think they have my favorite burger in rochester as a whole. Breakfeast sandwiches are my go to in the morning, and they're fantastic here.

Service is so great, I've had times where I forgot my wallet or for some reason don't have cash on me (cash only establishment), and they're great about it. I come back for lunch another day, and I pay them back, and give them a tip for being so kind.

Pat's Coffee Mug is exactly what you might think it is. Eclectic décor? Yep. A herd of Nauga's killed to make the naugahyde booths? Youbetcha. Counter service with grizzled vets and curmudgeons? Ayep. A bustling Ms. Cathy bringing you your drinks and food with quickness, kindness, and undaunted cheerfulness? Of course! Tasty, inexpensive, plentiful diner food served for breakfast and lunch. My favorite place to get away or meet family/friends. It's that versatile. Schrader's garage is close so I often drop off my car and have a meal while I'm waiting.
