Didn't get any food, but drinks were excellent. There aren't a lot of places to sit unfortunately, so if you're unable to stand for long periods of time I can't recommend it. I unfortunately got a little sick after my first drink because I sipped too fast so we had to sit outside a bit (there's a balcony area on the first floor). I really loved watching some of the people do tricks on the stripper pole on the upper floor too. The music is super loud, especially if you're right next to the speakers. If you're sensitive to that, I found being on the upper floor more manageable. The cover fee is very reasonable, drink prices are also reasonable, the one I had was poured very strong. They had a drag queen show towards midnight that I enjoyed a lot also. I had a blast despite the stomach ache. My partying days are probably coming to an end but if you have a higher alcohol tolerance than me, you can't go wrong coming here for a night. (also the bathrooms are really well lit, probably the worst part of the night was seeing what I actually...
Read moreSad I have to give this place such a low rating. First this place is fun! The employees on the other hand is what makes the experience bad. You feel so unwelcome. Security..I get it I also want to feel safe. But do you have to sit there and look at every single key on my key chain? Look thru my gum wrapper? I mean come on. Get a metal detector at that point. 3 separate occasions I have been the designated driver. When you pay cash at the gate they keep your change thinking you will not notice since you have already had a few drinks. First time I let it slide thinking maybe it was our mistake. Last 2 times I watched and then they gave our change back AFTER I had to correct them Really! They are stealing and that’s sad. Updating based on your reply. Please double check I said I am happy they check and I want to feel safe. But we are not at a tsa check point. Also if you make this rule make sure you apply it to everyone that walks in the door. Bc you checked mine but not a friends. It is NOT about getting in the...
Read moreThis is the best place to go in Rochester for a fun night out and a great community. After Tilt closed, it was scary because there was nowhere for all of us. But businesses came together to change that and then ultimately Deedee Dubois, DJ Might Mic, and their friends and family came and saved the day. They've built up such a great place where the staff is professional yet fun, the drag is great, and there's all sorts of things. It's an amazing Hybrid club where there literally is something for everyone from just going to dine in, going to chill at the bar and meet new friends, or just being able to feel a part of your community. LGBTQ+ places are one thing that our progress has seemed to sort of stamp out in many places and it's a sad loss for so many. We need places like this for us. It is so important. And Roar fills that hole that was placed in the community completely. It is gorgeous inside and the atmosphere is amazing. You couldn't ask for...
