Squatcho's — Restaurant in City of Rochester

Where do I even begin! This restaurant deserves all the praise it gets. My boyfriend ordered food for delivery and due to a mishandling on the delivery service’s end, we originally weren’t sure if we would be able to receive our order. It was the last delivery order of the day, and by the time we realized what had happened the restaurant had closed. After speaking with James, however, he was gracious enough to offer remaking the order and personally driving it himself to us. The fact that he even offered to do that, let alone actually complete the order for us, is incredible. It meant a lot because my boyfriend is vegan and we were at a friend’s house for a movie night so we ordered one vegan pizza and one regular one, so we were really banking on this order to pull through for him so he could eat. After a long run-around with our delivery driver that ended with a refund, I thought my luck had run out. My friends and I were having a party and, as a vegan, I was banking on a vegan pizza as my dinner. Good news: I am so pleased to say that the night wasn't ruined due to Squatcho's impeccable customer service! I scheduled my order in advance - last one of the night. With the incident that was neither of our faults, James graciously offered to remake the order (after close) and personally deliver it himself. I met him when he arrived, and he's a great guy, and I deeply appreciate what he did for me. I've never ordered Squatcho's before, but the pizza was absolutely delicious, and it even beat out the non-vegan pizza my friends had ordered. I got the 16 in classic with sausage and caramelized onions, fries and French onion soup. I’m so so glad to have found this place! What an absolute gem! The food is beyond any expectations I could have had. I have recently switched to a mainly plant based diet and of all the buffalo chicken pizzas I’ve tried, this has to be my favorite. The wings also shocked me, they were so flavorful and such a great texture.
