I went graving Korean food and took the risk of driving to their doggy area of Syracuse. Once I was seated I was met with nothing but aggression. When ready to go I requested a container and the owner got more aggressive and started yelling. When I noticed they added gratuity to my bill as a party of one, I asked them to remove it. The owner then told me that if I don’t want to pay gratuity I should go back to the kitchen and serve myself. They why should she have to serve me my food and not be tipped. That she is OWED A TIP. Then finally they agree to remove the gratuity and bring me the check and then add another fee without my permission. When I ask about it they snatch the receipt from my hand telling me they don’t need my signature, to get out, and physically push me to get out of the restaurant. I called the police to report the assault and filed a police report, so if it happens again there is documentation and legal action can be taken. It is never ok for anyone to put their hands on another...

The hospitality and customer service here is top tier. The whole time when I was there, I felt really comfortable and the environment was great. I accidentally left my card behind and I didn’t realize until later that night. I called the store and they were very kind and polite about it and they said they will keep my card safe until I’m able to pick it up again at business hours. Unfortunately I had to fly out to another city that night so I couldn’t retrieve my card back that night. So I tried to fly back as soon as possible and I came back 3 days later and just like the owner said “ I kept your card in a safe place “, my card was safe. And of course the food was 10/10. And I’m sure the table next to me agreed too because after they got their food, they wanted to see the menu again to order more food. After my wonderful experience with them, I would gladly come back. I wouldn't hesitate to do so. And I also would recommend you...

Perfect little hole in the wall. So we had ordered from here a few times via DoorDash. Every time everything was perfectly made.

When we came to sit down however that’s where it got solidified as a go to every time we are here. Firstly the kimchi is on point. The bean sprouts and seaweed salad are great compliments to the fried rice. Service was very fast and super friendly.

The beef fried rice is always flavorful and perfectly made. The fried egg was over medium with the right amount of jelly yolk.

The kimchi fried rice: more please. The flavor is rich in a pleasing way and isn’t too strong. Pairs very well with the bean sprouts.

This is a go to dinner spot for sure when we have time to sit down and relax. If you’re in the area and have some time sit down and enjoy. Also the Duk-Bok-Ki is...

Edit (10/2023): I finally made it back to Chorong House and it’s still really good. It makes me regret not making the effort to come back sooner. The woman who runs the restaurant is still one of the kindest people I’ve met at any place I’ve eaten. The menu has also been updated since the last time I ate here in December 2022. Original (12/2022): I don’t know how I’d never heard of this place before tonight, but it’s very good. Both the appetizers and main dishes we got were great. The woman who greeted us at the door after coming in from the snow storm was very kind as well. I look forward to coming back in the future and trying the jajangmyeon as it’s one of my favorite dishes.

So happy we came across this place. We were in the area shopping( from Rochester NY) and family and I had a craving for Korean food. 1) atmosphere quiet and comfortable. Kind of like eating at your grandmas house. 2) service was a lovely korean lady ( kind of reminded me of my own mother). She was friendly and food came out in a timely manner . 3) Food . I give a 10 out of 10 of what we ordered. Doesnt get any more authentic. Pricing was reasonable. Recommend : kalbi short ribs , bulgogi , Kimbop , beebeembop . There are places here in Rochester NY. I would rather drive the hour and a half to eat here. Everything was spot on. What a delicacy.
