Grubhub order. Food was greasy, the corn on the cob was awful, broccoli was brown, the slaw was disgusting. I felt bad for the driver because the grease had leaked all over the bag and saturated the underside and into his car. They apparently didn’t have one of the two desserts listed on their menu so they did credit our order but never let us know or called to ask if we would want something else. They forgot the crab cakes we ordered. When I called (seemingly missing three out of the 6 items we ordered), the “night manager” informed me about the desserts. As to the crab cakes, she insisted that she herself packed up the order and the crab cakes were in the package - implying that either we were lying or that the driver must’ve taken them. Considering that the tape on the bag was intact and not tampered with, the only true conclusion was that she forgot them and this “night manager” (she made sure I knew her position repeatedly) was trying to save face. I had also asked for extra tartar sauce, and her response was that I had to pay extra for it. That was fine with me but there was no way of ordering extra tartar sauce on the Grubhub menu - another thing that she insisted I was wrong about. Yesterday was my younger sons birthday I called them around 1 pm to be sure they sold gift certificates because this is all he’s been asking for and I had to travel to Syracuse with a newborn baby. Upon arriving the street was closed and I had to park a block away and send my older son in to get for me.
