So I went to Tai Chi Bubble Tea thinking I was about to have a cute little matcha moment… and it was literally the worst bubble tea I’ve ever had in my life. It tasted like straight water — no flavor, no sweetness, just nasty brownish-green liquid that looked like sewage runoff. I wish I was exaggerating. We spent $45 total, and my drink was so bad I didn’t even touch it after the first sip. I went up to the counter, super polite, and said I wasn’t happy with my matcha and asked if they could fix it or swap it for something else. The guy wouldn’t even make eye contact and goes, “Not really anything I can do.” I said, “You can’t do anything? Not even trade it out?” and then the woman jumps in and says, “Matcha at bubble tea places usually tastes like grass,” and shrugs. Sorry, but this didn’t taste like grass. It tasted like diarrhea water. It looked disgusting, completely separated, watery, and undrinkable. And when I tried to show them, they just stared at me like I was the problem. No apology, no remake, nothing. It was 8pm on a Friday night and the place was empty. Now I know why. If this is how they treat customers, they’re lucky anyone walks in at all. Don’t waste your time or money here — unless you like your bubble tea tasting like pond water and being told that’s “just how it is.”

Ok so I orders the following off the card: Taichi Rice Bowl. I was given this. Now I would expect a bit more than 1 scoop of rice for a rice bowl. We also ordered a Chicken rice bowl and that was about 2/3 rice so I don’t know where the disconnect went. The chicken was much to be desired. Very chewy and tasted reheated and added more sauce to cover the taste. In all honesty I’m writing this and going back to see what they do about the side of rice rice bowl I got and I will update the review to reflect as such. The boba was very good. A very solid Thai tea with good chewy boba. The mango fruit tea is very solid as well and the mango jelly was very good as well. Can’t knock them on the tea aspect. If I do go back I will only go for tea and forgo the food. Edit: I was informed a Poke Rice Bowl comes with 1 scoop of rice. This will be taken note of and that was the only thing they fixed. The chicken bowl was left in edited and unfixed.

Eat here fairly regularly and normally it’s fine, but today I got a bowl and asked if it was enough rice, but today felt like it wasn’t that much. Both people working the front assures me it was but 🤷. The guy kept forgetting items that I had to remind him of as I made my bowl, and the final product was less than half full of food. The photo I’m adding is before I’ve even eaten any and there’s a MASSIVE divot where food should be I feel. Had to run so the bowl got shaken so the layout of the food doesn’t bother me but the sheer amount I feel it’s missing is upsetting me. Every other time I’ve gotten a bowl it’s been completely full so this is just disappointing to me. If you go here the food is good just make sure they aren’t skimping you.

I visited your restaurant today as I have done many times before. I ordered a Ramen bowl and made specific requests to have certain ingredients removed due to dietary restrictions. When my food arrived it still contained multiple items I clearly asked to be left out.

What made matters worse is what I witnessed next. A staff member instructed the young woman at the counter to just pick the items out of the bowl and save them for the next order. That was completely unacceptable. I paid over twenty dollars for that meal and could not eat it.

I called the restaurant shortly after and while the young lady apologized twice she offered no real solution. She simply said it would be better next time and then hung up on me.

There will be no next time. I will never return. That level of customer service is unacceptable especially when it affects someone’s health. The food is not even worth the price when there are plenty of other places offering Ramen bowls at half the cost with far better service. You have lost a...
