My husband and I heard this place was amazing, so we figured we would try it out one night. We literally waited in line for 30 minutes, and as it approached closing time we thought we would get kicked out before ordering. They had at least 5 people on staff in the kitchen, and I cannot count how many times the windows were not being tended to at all. A FULL line of people and no one at the window? While you CLEARLY are not understaffed. That is unacceptable. We can literally see you guys back there actively wasting your customers time who just want some damn ice cream that I'm sure takes no time to scoop.
We finally get our ice cream. I ordered the brownie batter, but you might as well just call it chocolate because that is all I got. No brownie chunks whatsoever, and I paid $7 dollars for this... complete rip off. I will never be going to this establishment ever again. Customer service is dying because all businesses do is hire lazy children for pennies. I'm going back to buying quality ice cream from the grocery store. Häagen-Dazs has never let me down like this.
Underwhelming, overpriced, not actually good quality like the owners like to mention in some other reviews (have you actually eaten your own ice cream before you sell it at these inflated prices)... we are from Ohio, and we are sad we left. The service for almost every business in this area has been abysmal. It makes us want to move home where people actually care and don't actively rip you off.. also, idk who lied to all of you, but Perry's ice cream is gross.. no flavor, no toppings, etc. I can think of at least 3, less expensive store brands that are infinitely better. And you should check out Handel's ice cream in ohio if you ever want to try some quality home-made ice cream.
To the owners - I see you replying to people saying "we don't understand why you had this experience. We use top quality products. Our X dish is loved my others. We don't see how you could possibly feel this way." Your first problem is devaluing and invalidating your customers SUBJECTIVE experience. Arguing with the people that are trying to give you feedback saying your food/ice cream doesn't actually match the price you charge, because it's absolutely correct. Yes, you're establishment is dumpy looking. No, not everyone is going to agree because clearly some people go here because they always have. But as someone who just moved here, it does not deserve the hype and is definitely insanely overpriced. But the attitude you give to some of you're reviewers is another massive turn off....
Read moreCame here to eat a meal with the hubs at the end of the summer to enjoy the summer experience. We decided to eat in the dining room because the bees are very heavy this year. Sitting at the table near the front where the screen doors are I couldn't get over the filth of the peel and stick carpeting in that place. Looking at the screens over the garage doors was even more appalling covered with bugs, covered with spider webs, and the grooves at the bottom had dead bugs. If this is what I see in the dining room I'm almost afraid to see what I would see in the kitchen. The food was incredibly overpriced, and all it is, is a glorified McDonald's My fries were undercooked and all we had was a chicken sandwich and a cheeseburger. The condiments tray on the side we're sitting out in the heat with no refrigeration and no ice in the bottom to keep anything cold. I can't believe my husband and I spent $36 for this junk. Then we decided to get a hot fudge Sundae and I expected a scoop of Perry's vanilla ice cream and hot fudge sauce. What I got was soft serve ice cream and the crummiest fudgy sugary syrup I've ever eaten in my life for $8. Needless to say I will never come backhere again I expected more of the Berafatto family as I used to go to the Berafato beef pit in Clarence and never had a problem there. Things have really gone downhill in 20 years That's the last time I ate at Mississippi muds. And I plan on passing the words to my family and friends....
Read morei really tried to give this place a chance and wanted to like them but i am never coming back here again. the first time i came here i got a bacon cheeseburger. they undercooked my burger (the burger was pink) and forgot my bacon and i ended up getting sick after that. i’m like alright, maybe it was just an off day manager gave me a gift certificate and i decided to give this place a second shot. i am not someone who has any stomach problems but i ended up getting sick again. i got a burger the second time and it was the only meal i really had that day besides cereal in the morning. i ended up having cramps all night and throwing up the next day. it was my fault but i didn’t realize the burger was almost red in the middle until i took a few bites and by then it was too late. mind you, i had asked for a well done burger and this was not well done. they seriously need to start checking their burgers with a meat thermometer, i’m not sure if they take food safety...
