Vito's Gourmet — Restaurant in City of Watertown

The coffee was fresh and strong. The diablo wrap was equally fresh. I would definitely eat here again. The front desk cashier was such a friendly guy with a nice smile. A satisfactory spot for a leisurely lunch.

Unfortunately I was trying the place on a day when an angry customer was there spoiling the ambiance. I understand that warm weather can sometimes bring out the worst in people, especially if they are perhaps overly hungry. This woman felt compelled to use the word “bitch” because her sandwich had only one pickle. They gave her extra pickles and didn’t engage her in arguments. And after she huffed out, they were professional enough not to talk about her in her absence. Which was far better than she deserved. All I’m saying is: Watertown customers: do better! There’s no need to get aggro over extra pickles. But if you do, the staff at Vito’s will still treat you with dignity...

Wanted to love this place, but PLEASE, CHANGE the music. My husband received a professional phone call while there and it sounded like he was club hopping in the background with obscenity super often not bleeped or muted out and he had to step out while I stayed waiting for the food because it was so bad and loud enough to hear on the phone. We had kids with us and I left as soon as we got our food. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was a whole different story. Don’t go here for a business meeting or with kids you don’t want repeating obscenities. It would be super casual to play something like jazz or coffee house type music in the background and set a comfortable atmosphere, as a suggestion. I mean really, the food was super great! My husband and I have been dying to try this place. We each got a buffalo chicken wrap. Somehow they were soggy despite having (presumably) just been made. The chicken was chewy and it tastes more of red onion than buffalo. My husband is adamant we try again for their sandwiches, so possible update to come.

Hello! We tried again. The buffalo chicken wrap still tastes only of red onion. Its not made with the breaded chicken to which we are accustomed, but that wasnt a make or break change. The red onion flavor really overpowers it all. We each took 1 bite and that was it. My husband and I both tried Vitos favorite. Unfortunately it just wasn't our speed.
