3 Brother's Pizzeria — Restaurant in City of Watervliet

Mangia, Mangia, Mangia! 3 Brother's Pizzeria. Looking for another pizza shop I took a shot at 3 Brother's because they had Fried Dough and my wife likes that. So I called to make sure they delivered to Troy. The very nice young man who answered said they did so I ordered. I ordered a LARGE 8 cut EX-cheese pizza. It was Friday evening and the man said at least 45 minutes. I thought an hour. Well 30 minutes later a very nice delivery man calls and says he is outside. Wow that was fast and to my surprise he had a HUGE pizza box which was very, very hot. (along with the fried dough and menu I asked for which most places forget) Well that HUGE pizza box (you can never believe the box) had a HUGE large EX-cheese pizza inside it. Oh the cheese was still bubbling when I opened the box. I've never had a pizza have to cool down a little before I ate it. But the next time I will order the medium 8 cut. Oh and the EX-cheese that was really extra, they don't scrimp here. Again, next time I won't get the EX-cheese even though I did enjoy it along with the hot pizza. Don't take either one of these comments as a complaint, I was very happy just overly surprised (in a good way) by the size of the pizza and amount of cheese for the cost. You order large you get LARGE, you order extra you get EXTRA! The pizza here from the crust, dough, sauce, cheese and just the right amount of grease had an 1970's Pizzeria feel and taste too it. I first came to this place summer 2024 after I got done getting a haircut nearby. The food made here is not only addictively delicious, it actually feels like freshness is added in which is only optional at so many other food establishments. I also appreciate how the menu is just one page and still has an abundant amount of options without being too little or too much to choose from. The clear objective at this place after the number of times I returned since seems to be quality and less on quantity. The owner Madassar and one of the employees Sean/Shawn do go out of their way to please and have made it hospitable every time which is a big bonus on top of the super quality food. We have been ordering from here since July 2018. The pizza is good and consistent. The wings are always crispy which I love. We usually get mild but sometimes get garlic parm and its not quite as good as other places. We also have gotten subs. The 1st time they were the best subs we ever had! Since then they are mediocre at best and unless we are also getting pizza and wings we go elsewhere. My biggest complaint is the menu. Both online and on paper its extremely minimalistic, there are zero descriptions of foods. Ordering online is a pain as mayonaisse isnt listed just salad dressings. Also they dont have white pizza. We ordered one by just describing what we wanted but it was it was clear that "garlic butter" was not something they were used to making as the pizza was dry.
