This is a family Pizza place. We stopped in just before a snowstorm, and there were people coming in picking up pizzas and leaving while we ordered and sat down. The reason there are pieces missing from the pizza and the garlic cheese bread it's because the place smells so good we could not wait and took some pieces before I can even get my phone out!! The pizza you see is an upside down pizza, where the sauce is on top of all the condiments in the cheese. The crust was perfect, we did get a deep crust, and ended up with way too much pizza to take back with us to the hotel. No, we heated it up two days later after the fridge for lunch and it was just as good, no joke. This is a place you need to order your pizza, get your pizza, or just stop by and eat your pizza.

Updating to 5 stars as the pizza is consistently great and their buffalo wings are delicious as well! --- Had a good experience ordering take out. We were craving some deep dish style pizza and this place popped up on google. We ordered the upside down with pepperonis and at first thought they forgot them since there was a single pepperoni visible. But we realized most of the pepperonis were buried under the sauce. Pizza had a good chew, fair amount of pepperonis, but the bottom could have been crisped more. The dough didn't have much flavor and we would have also liked more pepperonis on the top so they could get that delicious char; the slice with the random pepperoni on top was the best of the bunch. Definitely going into our takeout rotation.

A hidden gem of pizza place. The crust is soft but not floppy. It's a little thicker so you can really taste the dough. The seasoning in the sause was amazing. I also got the white pie and it had to be one of the best I've ever had. There are a few tables inside so eating in might be a issue at a busy time. The service was top notch. Very friendly and the place was very clean. They have a selection of beers if you want one. The Utica beer was good. Parking is in the garage behind so you have to walk around the building to get to the front door. They said they deliver to New Rochelle and parts of Larchmont as well so if you are looking to have delivery, definitely hit them up for a pie.

The metro area has pizzeria loyalists of every slice:, Sicilian, wood-fired, coal-fired, and the traditional round pie. How can you top those heated passions? Now you will try an altogether different ‘za: Utica Pie in White Plains. These pies have the sauce, the toppings below the cheese on top of a sort of Sicilian round pie. It’s cut in squares. This pizza has flavorful cheese that stands up to the toppings. The toppings underneath the cheese come together vastly differently for a much more identifiable ingredient taste. Five of us split the large Caesar salad, the terrific wings, but we couldn’t finish the two large pies: one was pepperoni and the other was sausage, pepper and onions. We were given the reheat directions from owner Sal Torchia. The pizza tastes amazing reheated. Utica Club beer and other upstate brews are ice cold and there’s a decent affordable wine list. Also, there's no Coke or Pepsi - only Boylan sodas on tap. This is a different take on pizza, but an unforgettable...
