Roof Taco White Plains — Restaurant in City of White Plains

Where do I start.. my friend and I with our kids chose this restaurant. We didn't have a reservation so the young lady in the front still wanted to seat us, we go upstairs and we were not greeted or even asked how many we were, we stood there for about 10 min, place is fairly tight so we just gathered up and waited meanwhile 4 young ladies came in they were greeted and seated asked how they were, meanwhile we still stood there, ignored. so we went back to the 1st floor where apparently it's only lunch. This young lady was so nice and did everything to let us feel more comfortable and welcomed. So, for being here for the 1st time and being out of state, I was pretty embarrassed for them they have a 5 star review for their food, but unfortunately, the gentleman's attitude maybe the owner or Manger just was so disrespectful towards my kids my friends kids my friend. This place is far from inexpensive, but we were not even offered free drinks sodas for the lack of respect. I won't go back. The food was okay, for a small sangria 16 dollars wasn't really worth it. Absolutely out of there mind. Past 2 days i have eaten at carmines in NYc five people with wine and my bill was cheaper then this place. Then yesterday ate at l and b in brooklyn 5 people and ordered everything. tonight we were 4 people order 3 drinks and bill was over 300 bucks and the food was fair at best. they even charge for tortilla when you order fajitas. every mexican restaurant i’ve ever been to includes tortilla with fajitas. This place charges you for the tortillas lol. absolutely absolutely not recommend this place at all. helllll no. im a foodie and eat only at quility places and this place is wayyyy off the list. save your money.

Also, they added the tip with only 4 people which never happened before, it even says on menu a cash price vs cc price and i paid cash and they still charged me the cc price, i actually drove back for the money cause i was so disappointed in spending that much for so little. they responded that tortillas come with my meal but they actually charged 2 bucks for tortillas even my nephews $35 carne asada steak they charged him 2 bucks per tortilla, just feel ripped off...

We had dinner last night in this beautiful restaurant.! We had some guacamole for appetizer it was delicious but a little to small for the price then we order the entrees and the enchiladas were so delicious all the food was way better than any other Mexican restaurant I have tried around here, the agua de orchata was delicious but the cup super small and FULL of ice.!! My mango frozen margarita was THE BEST.!! Our waiter was so nice but he had way to much tables to handle on his own😧 the runner Rafael was so friendly and helpful 😊 we had a table by the door wich was a bit Chaotic i wish we had a different table just so we didn’t hear how bad the owner was talking to his employees it was not one time it was several times I hope he changes his attitude towards his employees I get that it’s stressful but nothing gives you the right to treat people like that.
