Best coffee shop in white plains. I love it here!

The 2 women that own it & all the women who work there are Brazilian. They're so kind and keep me coming back for more! As one of them said to me, "a latte tastes better when someone else makes it for you". It's so true. I have an espresso machine at home but coming here over the last 4 years brings me joy. Everything is fresh and made with love.

My favorite savory items: cheese bread (pao de queijo), ground beef dough (pastel), chicken with capitury cheese croquette (coxinha)

My favorite sweet items: chocolate cake, brigadeiros (similar to truffles), carrot chocolate cake

I usually order a latte with sugar and cinnamon (their recommendation). I've tried all of their speciality coffees and each is better than the next. You can ask for light syrup if you'd like!

They also double as a little Brazilian market and have plenty items from Brazil (cured meats, cheeses, beverages, chips, candy...

So, this is a very cute Brazilian coffee shop with an adjoining mini mart. Visited here because I have an affinity for quaint shops and I needed caffeine. STAT. Stepped in and was impressed by the overwhelming coffee choices for such a small place. I ordered an iced pumpkin spiced cappuccino (because.... It's Fall, y'all!) and tried their cheese bread, which is exactly what it sounds like - melted cheese in a soft doughy round bread. The cappuccino had an authentic taste to it as it didn't automatically remind me of Starbucks or Dunkin whilst the shop had a nostalgic feel because a lot of their foods reminded me of my past Caribbean life.

I would visit here again, if only to bring a book and sit outside while enjoying their coffee. A missed opportunity for sure, but I look forward to capitalizing on...

OUTSTANDING pastries - I was speechless. We had the Alfajores (shortbread) with what I think was a caramel type filling. We also had a chocolate brigadeiro. Both were the best desserts I’ve had in a while - melt in your mouth and extremely high quality. I think they hand you these at the gates of heaven.

For savory, we also tried the Coxinha, which was a chicken filling in a croquet (just the smell was to die for) and the pão de queijo. Both were delicious and satisfying little snacks.

I am lactose intolerant but let me tell you, trying these was WORTH it - truly haven’t tasted a dessert that stopped me in my tracks like...

Pre-ordered various empanada type items for a work pot luck. Also ordered some of the Brazilian cheese bread, which I have had before and love. There was a good variety of fillings of the empanadas, the chicken and potatoe being my favorite. They also serve Brazilian coffees and do speciality coffee drinks. They also sell some Brazilian groceries. The service was very good and they had everything ready to go on time and even helped me to my car, which I really appreciated. They do have some tables to sit inside.

Back in the fall, we tried out this adorable Brazilian cafe in White Plains. I ordered a vanilla latte and my husband got a caramel macchiato and both were so yummy! I asked for mine to be a little sweeter and they added just the perfect amount. The staff were warm and very friendly and the outdoor seating area was the perfect spot to enjoy our coffee on a warm fall day! We didn't try any of the food or pastries but we definitely will on our next visit. Such a cute spot!
