White Plains Bake Shoppe — Restaurant in City of White Plains

Someone bought me a brownie. It was the worst thing I ever had. Dam thing almost sent me to the hospital. I only took a small piece and that was enough to set an alarm in my body. First it who ever made it an infused black coffee in it to heighten the flavors left coffee grains in it. It have a strong coffee flavor that linger on my tongue linger then it should. Then it has chocolate frosting a walnuts on one side and powder sugar on the other side. It’s so darn sweet with a taste of coffee that should have been baked into the under bake brownie. Four dollars for this not worth more then 2.00 If you most buy it. Extremely sweet cofffee brownie should come with a warning sign. I am allergic to coffee and extreme sweetness. Change the name please to underbaked extremely sweet coffee brownies. Do to ingredients if you have allergies...

We wanted to buy a birthday cake from here on a Tuesday at 5pm. We found this bakery online and it said that the bakery was open until 6pm. Since it was the day after Christmas, I decided to call to confirm that they were open. Nobody answered. Then I decided to check their website to make sure they weren’t closed for any reason. Apart from their early closing hour on Christmas Eve, there was no notice of any changes to their working hours. However, when we went to the bakery, they were closed. There was no notice whatsoever on their door indicating that they would be unexpectedly closed at 5pm on a Tuesday.

After asking other local friends about this bakery, they mentioned going to them at least twice before and finding it closed.

Unreliable timing is not a great experience and we’re not inclined to try this bakery...

I love it here. It's my go to bakery.

You can find any baked good you're looking for here. I love their pies, cookies, bread, cannolis, chocolate mousse balls, etc.

I love stopping here before events to bring an array of treats to any party.

I've come here for cookies before holidays, birthdays, etc. and everyone always loves what I bring.

I have another event this weekend that I'm bringing cookies too. I can't wait to eat them!

The staff is very friendly and helpful too; they give great recommendations if you're stuck on what you are looking for too.

They always plan ahead for holidays and make extra pies and cookies. I'd recommend ordering ahead of time, or stopping by early to ensure you have a wide selection of options.
